Hey @grok Is the Pentagon preparing every major US military base to survive 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies? Are they expecting an event that will disrupt power for the country?

Im abusing Google Gemini (whom I call the paste eater) when its stupid, so when the singularity happens in however many moons. It'll just merk me. Because I'd like to die an organic death I am making a dangerous gamble that this wont end in, "I have no mouth and I must scream"

i thought i deleted 94,000 photos from my iPhone over the last 3 years. Claude Code just found every single one of them sitting in a hidden cache that any app on my phone can read. ran a backup audit on my MacBook. Claude Code flagged a directory called PhotoData/Thumbnails that should have been empty. it wasn't. it had 94,712 files going back to 2021. photos, videos, screenshots. everything i ever deleted. the scariest part wasn't the number. it was what was in there: → passport photo i took for a visa in 2023 → bank app screenshots with full account numbers → private photos i deleted within seconds after a breakup → crypto seed phrase i screenshotted "temporarily" in 2022 → ID and credit card photo i took to remember the numbers → ex's private instagram stories i saved and "permanently deleted" none of it was permanently deleted. iOS removes photos from your camera roll and your Recently Deleted folder but keeps a compressed copy in a Spotlight search cache so your phone can find images by text. Apple never wipes this cache. not after 30 days. not after a year. not ever. i looked at which apps had access to this folder. 17 apps with Files and Folders permission. weather apps. QR scanners. free games. a calculator from 2021. every single one of them could read my "deleted" photos this entire time. revoked 13 of them in about two minutes. if you have iCloud on this cache syncs across every Apple device on your account. your iPad. your old iPhone you gave to someone. the full step by step is below. takes 2 minutes. save it so you don't lose it and send it to anyone with an iPhone.

I'm quitting smoking spliffs, and find myself talking too loud and being extra agro and annoying. Its like pms. I would say I'm sorry in advance. But not really. This is just who I actually am. Not sorry for that. Masking it hasn't really been beneficial for me.

Person who is reverse engineering his tv gets banned from OpenAI You aren't allowed to stop your tv from spying on your family. You have to ask for permission Or, maybe, maybe we accelerate
banned for reverse engineering work? that’s wild oh well, -$500, and a bunch of banked resets) but gained motivation to get 3 more machines and finish my cluster. i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering which tripped daybreak.

Let me get this straight. A guy keeps getting weirdly targeted ads on his new Samsung TV. So he breaks into his own TV to find out why. 1.2M people watch. 42 hours later, OpenAI deactivates his account. Reason: "Cyber Abuse." His words: "i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering" Same week, people on r/claude say Claude now cuts off reverse-engineering write-ups MID-SENTENCE: "A safety check stopped my response partway through creating the playbook" The TV is fine. The guy who opened it is the problem.

In 1909, on a beach in southern India, a man looked at a thin, quiet boy and announced he had found the next Messiah. The man was Charles Leadbeater, a leader of the Theosophical Society, who claimed he could see auras. The boy was the son of one of the Society’s employees. Leadbeater said the boy’s aura held no trace of selfishness. His name was Jiddu Krishnamurti. What happened next was one of the strangest projects in spiritual history. The Society’s president, Annie Besant, became his legal guardian. He was taken to England, educated, and trained for one purpose: to become the vehicle for the coming World Teacher. In 1911, they built an organisation around him, the Order of the Star in the East, with Krishnamurti at its head. It grew into a global movement with more than 43,000 members. A Dutch baron gave him a castle with 5,000 acres of woodland. In 1927, Besant declared publicly that the World Teacher was here. Thousands were waiting for him to speak as the Messiah. On August 3, 1929, at a camp in Ommen in the Netherlands, he finally did. In front of Annie Besant and about 3,000 members, he dissolved the entire order. "Truth is a pathless land," he told them. No religion, no sect, and no organisation could lead anyone to it. A belief could not be organised. He did not want followers. He gave back the castle. He returned the money and the land. People who had spent twenty years preparing to follow him were told there was nothing to follow. Think about what that took. He was 34. He had been handed everything a spiritual teacher could want: devotees, wealth, land, a global platform, and a ready-made identity as the saviour of humanity. And he walked away from the one thing almost nobody walks away from. Being someone. For the next 57 years, he travelled the world saying the same uncomfortable thing in a hundred different ways. No authority can see the truth for you. Not a guru, not a method, not him. You have to watch your own mind, the fear, the comparison, the endless striving to become something, until you see that the one watching is made of the same thing it’s watching. He put it in four words. The observer is the observed. Most of us are still waiting for someone to arrive. The right teacher. The right method. The day we’ll finally be ready. In 1929, the World Teacher arrived. And the first thing he did was send everyone home. Not because there was nothing to find. Because no one else could ever find it for you.

Oh no! the AI is going to leak our search histories! I'm already incorrigible, what's it matter if a few more people who dont care about me know? In a world where mental illness is considered posh. When the time comes, nobodys giving a fuck about your opinions If you're crazy.

Scientists found a way to flush Alzheimer’s plaque out of the brain in minutes. Without any surgery and drugs. Your brain has a waste-clearance network called the glymphatic system. It flushes out toxic proteins and dead cells. But it only really activates during deep, slow-wave sleep. If you don't sleep, the trash piles up. Over time, that buildup leads to cognitive decline and Alzheimer's. Until today. Researchers just published a paper proving they can manually trigger this cleaning cycle. Without you ever going to sleep. They used 40.68 MHz ultrashort waves (USW) beamed non-invasively into the brain. Within 10 minutes, the brain's fluid flow rapidly accelerated. The waves artificially synchronized the neurons into a Delta state, the exact frequency of deep sleep. This forced the brain's water channels to open and start flushing out the system. They tested it on mice with traumatic brain injuries and Alzheimer's pathology. The brain swelling dropped. The toxic proteins were cleared out. Cognitive deficits actually improved. No surgery. No massive chemical interventions. Just a frequency.
