“Nobody has the right to endanger others.”
Alexander De Croo was Prime Minister of Belgium from October 2020 to February 2025 and is now Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), having started on December 2, 2025 for a four-year term. His credentials are a Master of Science in Business Engineering from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1998) and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School (2004). He worked as a Boston Consulting Group strategy consultant before founding a software company. He has no medical, scientific, epidemiological, or public health training.
He said the line above on September 17, 2021, at the press conference after the Consultative Committee, where he called the situation "an epidemic of the unvaccinated." He said ICU wards were becoming "a gathering place for the unvaccinated" and that "as a society, we can't accept people making choices that endanger others." Brussels, where he noted that half the population was still unvaccinated, got the Covid Safe Ticket extended to hospitality, nightclubs, and sports halls from October 1. The MR party's president, Georges-Louis Bouchez, publicly disagreed that the characterization was "scientifically exact" and warned that stigmatizing the unvaccinated risked radicalizing them. On December 27, 2021, he reversed on a general vaccine mandate: "I believe more in persuading than obliging, but with five times more unvaccinated in intensive care, you can no longer dodge the question."
On May 12, 2021, he told the Chamber, "Our freedom will not depend on a pass," promising there would be no pass society. By September, the pass governed Brussels restaurants and nightclubs. He had called mandatory vaccination a "purely theoretical" debate, asking how you'd enforce it without roadside checkpoints, and flipped by Christmas. Belgium's care-worker mandate followed in January 2022. His party took a major defeat in the 2024 elections, and he's now running a UN agency.
De Croo promised Belgians a freedom that didn't depend on a pass, then spent the fall and winter proving it did.

“We’d have to have more restrictions on people who are unvaccinated because they’re a danger to themselves and others.”
Former Australian Prime Minister (2018–2022, salary roughly $549,000) Scott Morrison holds a B.Sc. in applied economic geography from the University of New South Wales. Background in tourism marketing and Liberal Party administration. Zero medical, scientific, epidemiological, or public-health qualifications - just a geographer-turned-politician who treated national cabinet as a public-health laboratory.
He drove federal support for mandatory vaccination of aged-care, health, and disability workers, backed vaccine passports and businesses’ “legitimate” right to refuse entry to the unvaccinated (“if you’re not vaccinated, you represent a greater public health risk… so it’s only sensible”), and warned Australians to “get jabbed or get left behind.” He previously championed “No Jab, No Play” policies that tied childcare benefits to vaccination.
National cabinet under his leadership coordinated the most restrictive lockdown and mandate regime in the developed world, with states imposing job, travel, and venue exclusions while he green-lit the pressure. Later he pivoted to criticizing state mandates as overreach and declaring people should buy coffee regardless of status once 80% was reached - after the damage was done.
The shots never stopped transmission, yet he framed the unvaccinated as the core danger. No clinical expertise, but he oversaw the rollout, the messaging, and the exclusion architecture. After losing office he collected the parliamentary pension and moved into private advisory roles (including AUKUS-adjacent gigs) while ordinary Australians absorbed the job losses, family separations, and economic wreckage of the policies he enabled.
A tourism promoter with an economic-geography degree who labeled the unvaccinated a “danger to themselves and others” - then walked back the mandates when politically convenient - isn’t someone interested in representing the “common man.”

“It's not enough to just get on the unvaccinated's nerves.”
Karl Lauterbach was Germany's Federal Health Minister from December 8, 2021 to May 2025 and is an SPD member of the Bundestag. He earned a Dr. med. after studying medicine in Aachen, Düsseldorf, and San Antonio, plus a Master of Public Health, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Science in health policy from Harvard's School of Public Health. He is a professor of health economics and epidemiology at the University of Cologne, on leave since 2005, and received his license to practice medicine in 2010. That makes what follows harder to excuse.
He said the line above in a February 10, 2022 AFP interview (the German was den Ungeimpften nur auf die Nerven zu gehen), adding that Germany needed to do more and calling himself "a very clear supporter of a general vaccine mandate." Weeks earlier, on January 26, 2022, he told the Bundestag that "we win back freedom through vaccination" and that claims a mandate stood in the way of freedom were false.
He championed the facility-based mandate for health and care workers, and when the compromise mandate for people 60 and older failed in the Bundestag, he called it "a bad week for infection protection." On January 14, 2022, when a reporter asked why he demanded a mandate as an MP but not as minister, he called it "a provocative question."
In August 2021, he asked on Twitter why a minority of society wouldn't take a "side-effect-free" vaccine that was free, and he repeated the word on Anne Will, telling Sahra Wagenknecht it was settled. In 2023 he told ZDF the word was an "exaggeration" and a "failed" tweet.
In July 2022 he told the Bundestag the vaccines "don't really protect well against infection," and in November 2022, ending the care-worker mandate, he said "the vaccination no longer protects against infection," so no reason for it remained. The man who defended the mandate as medically necessary conceded he could no longer justify it. His ministry also tweeted in July 2022 that one in 5,000 people suffered a severe side effect, and corrected it hours later.
Lauterbach told Germans the vaccine had no side effects, then told the Bundestag it hadn't stopped infection, which left a mandate with one rationale and a minister who'd spent a winter explaining it.

“It’s as clear as daylight that you’re taking real risks if you don’t get vaccinated, in terms of your own personal health and the health of others.”
Former and current Taoiseach of Ireland (2020–2022 and 2025–present; current salary approximately €249,000) Micheál Martin holds a BA from University College Cork, an MA in Political History, and a Higher Diploma in Education. Former secondary-school history teacher. Zero medical, scientific, epidemiological, or public-health qualifications - he is just a history teacher who decided an Arts degree authorized him to lecture the nation on ICU risk.
He publicly received his first COVID dose in Cork in May 2021 and urged others to follow. While formally rejecting compulsory vaccination in favor of a “voluntary” system that produced high uptake, he repeatedly framed the unvaccinated as having a “disproportionate impact” on hospitals and ICU beds and as endangering both themselves and others. Under his government, Ireland implemented Digital COVID Certificates for indoor hospitality, restaurants, pubs, and events - requiring proof of vaccination or recent recovery for access - effectively locking the unvaccinated out of ordinary social and economic life for months. He pressed boosters, supported the overall restrictive framework, and highlighted the unvaccinated’s burden on the health system while Ireland’s high rates were achieved through sustained pressure and certification.
The vaccines never stopped transmission - the premise behind the certificates and the shaming - yet he treated refusal as a clear public danger. A non-clinician with a teaching background who oversaw de-facto exclusion from pubs and restaurants while collecting the Taoiseach’s salary and later returning to the role now continues in office after the measures were rolled back. The human cost of prolonged restrictions and the division he amplified fell on ordinary people, not on the politician who benefited from the narrative.
Micheál is a history teacher who called the unvaccinated a daylight risk to others - while his own government turned a certificate into the price of a pint. Both are unqualified to remove bodily autonomy and restrict movement from a free people.

“If everybody got vaccinated in this country we could all take off our masks. If everybody was vaccinated in this country we wouldn’t have to be passing emergency relief bills to keep the economy afloat. If everybody got vaccinated we could open back up all of our restaurants.”
U.S. Senator from Connecticut (2013–present; salary $174,000) Chris Murphy holds a BA in history and political science from Williams College and a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Former real-estate and banking lawyer. Zero medical, scientific, epidemiological, or public-health qualifications - just another attorney who treated the Senate floor as a vaccine compliance seminar.
He publicly supported and defended Biden administration employer vaccine-or-test requirements, arguing that opposition to them fueled “anti-vaccine” campaigns and that near-universal vaccination would end masking, emergency spending, and restaurant closures. He explicitly endorsed college vaccine mandates as “the right thing,” noting that over 500 institutions had already imposed them, and he amplified the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” framing. He used his platform to pressure compliance, attack mandate critics, and normalize the idea that individual refusal was the barrier to normal life while serving on the HELP Committee.
The vaccines never stopped transmission - the premise behind the “if everybody got vaccinated we open everything” claim - yet he kept selling the fantasy while Americans faced job loss, exclusion, and division under the policies he defended. A non-clinician with a law degree who lectured the country on how a jab would restore restaurants continues drawing a six-figure Senate salary.
As of November 1, 2026, he was hospitalized after suffering a stroke, a stark personal health setback for a man who spent years framing other people’s medical decisions as the nation’s problem.
A lawyer who promised masks off and restaurants open if everyone obeyed the shot - then kept collecting the Senate paycheck after the science and the outcomes contradicted him - can now add “stroke victim” to his resume.

“I believe that misinformation is now our leading cause of death.”
Robert Califf is a cardiologist who served as FDA Commissioner twice, once under Obama in 2016-17 and again from February 2022 to January 2025. He holds an M.D. and a Master of the American College of Cardiology designation. This is the rare entry where the credentials are legitimate, and that makes the overreach harder to excuse. He is a physician-scientist with a long research career, and he picked the one claim a physician-scientist could be expected to quantify.
He said the line above on April 29, 2022, at Health Journalism 2022 in Austin, citing vaccine hesitancy, ivermectin use, and vaping. He repeated it at the BIO22 convention, where he said almost all COVID deaths were now preventable if people were up to date on vaccines, and in a July 28 briefing. His FDA ran a "Just a Minute" series of fact-checking videos and posted Scooby-Doo and SpongeBob memes urging Americans to get boosted.
On CNN he said he couldn't quantify misinformation's effect on death rates, per a transcript excerpt reproduced by critics. He also admitted the agency was "losing the battle on misinformation" on COVID, citing the number of unvaccinated Americans.
Senator Joe Manchin opposed his confirmation, which passed 50-46, pointing out that when Califf was commissioner before, the FDA approved five new opioids in 2016 and 2017. The man who called misinformation the leading cause of death couldn't produce a number for it, ran a meme campaign for the booster, and had his own agency's booster decisions criticized by some of its top vaccine scientists. He is no longer in government.
Califf diagnosed misinformation as the leading killer and treated it with SpongeBob, which is how you lose a battle you'd already admitted you were losing.

“On a flight now to Bay Area and it is one-hundred percent batty that the unvaccinated are allowed to fly. It’s unsafe in the cabin and we are transporting the virus. Requiring the vaccine to fly is the LEAST we can do to stop the spread.”
Eric Swalwell was a California Congressman (resignation in 2026) and holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland (2003) and a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law (2006). Former Alameda County prosecutor. Zero medical, scientific, epidemiological, or public-health qualifications - just another lawyer who decided the Constitution authorizes him to ban people from airplanes for declining a shot.
He repeatedly pushed domestic air-travel vaccine requirements (#NoShotNoSpot), signed letters and backed legislation to force proof of vaccination or negative tests for flights, and predicted rates would jump from 60% to 80% if flying was restricted. In a November 2021 rant he said he was “losing my COVID patience,” claimed the unvaccinated were “creating new variants,” and told them “get your damn shot. Or, stay inside your house” while citing his own young kids. He supported business exclusions and blamed “Republican liars” for prolonging the pandemic. As a House Democrat he was part of the 100% vaccinated cohort.
The vaccines never stopped transmission - the exact claim he used to justify cabin bans - yet he demanded others be grounded while vaccinated people (including himself) could still fly and spread it. Later removed from the Intelligence Committee over the Christine Fang Chinese-spy scandal, he resigned from Congress in April 2026 amid sexual-misconduct allegations and has faced federal searches related to the investigation. A non-doctor with a law degree who wanted to turn airports into compliance checkpoints now exits under a different cloud of scandal, still eligible for a taxpayer pension while the people he tried to ground absorbed the job losses and travel restrictions he championed.
A prosecutor who thought a J.D. made him an epidemiologist - and whose own judgment on national security was already compromised - calling the unvaccinated “batty” is pure projection.

“@HouseDemocrats have a 100% vaccination rate. Public health officials have made their guidance clear: get vaxxed or stay masked. Yet some House GOP Members think they’re above science, common sense, and House rules. Too bad there isn’t a vaccine against magical thinking.”
Maryland’s 8th District congressman and Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee (base salary $174,000), Jamie Raskin holds a B.A. from Harvard College (1983, government/political theory) and a J.D. from Harvard Law School (1987). Decades as a constitutional law professor at American University. Zero medical, scientific, epidemiological, or public-health qualifications - he is a lawyer who decided the Constitution authorizes him to police other people’s medical choices.
He publicly received the vaccine in December 2020 and called it an act of pure patriotism. Throughout 2021 he repeatedly highlighted Democrats’ 100% vaccination rate, told Republican colleagues the only reason masks stayed on the House floor was because of them, and said he was “not interested in them getting fined. I’m interested in them getting vaccinated.” He urged constituents to “tell the unvaccinated about the vaccine’s safety & efficacy,” grilled Great Barrington Declaration signers, and treated vaccine hesitancy as dangerous propaganda while amplifying the “science-based” mandate narrative.
In March 2022, fully vaccinated and boosted, Raskin tested positive for COVID-19 with mild flu-like symptoms and worked from home. The same man who mocked others for “magical thinking” became a textbook breakthrough case. A non-doctor with a law degree spent a year shaming colleagues and the public into compliance, then caught the virus under the exact regimen he demanded of everyone else.
Still collecting the congressional paycheck and lecturing about public health with no relevant expertise, he helped normalize the pressure that cost others their jobs, school access, and bodily autonomy while enjoying the elite protections of the House.
A Harvard Law Review editor who thought a J.D. made him an epidemiologist - and then got COVID anyway - is the purest form of credential fraud.

“Let’s let the media know who those people are who are choosing not to vaccinate, who are choosing not to test and are claiming to quarantine.”
Mitchell D. Roth holds a B.A. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a J.D. from Whittier Law School. That is the medical file: a former deputy prosecuting attorney in Honolulu and Hawaiʻi counties, elected Prosecuting Attorney for Hawaiʻi County from 2012 to 2020, and mayor of Hawaiʻi County from 2020 to 2024. No M.D., no epidemiology, no immunology, no public-health degree, no clinic.
In May 2021 he proposed increasing indoor gathering sizes on the Big Island if a host or business could verify that 75 percent of attendees were vaccinated, saying the more people were vaccinated the better off and safer everyone would be. He said getting vaccinated would let the community return faster to contact sports, concerts, and social gatherings.
In September Roth said the county had asked the governor for permission to let the media know the identities of travelers who opted out of the Safe Travels program - those who chose the ten-day quarantine rather than provide proof of vaccination or a negative test. He said the list would not violate HIPAA because it would not disclose medical information, only who had failed to provide proof.
In December, after testing positive while fully vaccinated and boosted, he reported minor symptoms and said getting vaccinated and boosted could minimize the chance of severe illness, that he was experiencing only minor symptoms because of the vaccines, and that those who had not yet gotten theirs should do so. He noted that the county had chosen not to impose indoor vaccine mandates of the kind adopted in Honolulu and Maui, while still enforcing the governor’s rules and stating that nothing was off the table for county employees.
He took the shots and the booster, called them the reason his symptoms were minor, and asked to publish the names of those who declined. The product did not stop infection or transmission. He left office in 2024 and joined a bank. The travelers whose names he wanted released, and the residents he told would be safer if more people were vaccinated, did not get a correction when the vaccine failed to stop the spread.
Mitch said let the media know who chose not to vaccinate. Then he tested positive, and the list was never published.

“We still have work to do to fight this deadly virus. Getting vaccinated is another important tool as well as wearing masks, washing hands, and staying socially distant. By working together with our partners and following the guidance of scientists and health providers, we will be victorious.”
Sheldon Andre Neeley holds an associate degree from Delta College and attended Saginaw Valley State University without graduating. He is a longtime broadcast technician at WJRT-TV, local union president, Flint City Council member, Michigan state representative, and mayor of Flint since 2019. No M.D., no epidemiology, no immunology, no public-health degree, no degree at all, no clinic, no patients.
In February 2021 he told residents to do whatever it took to get on the vaccination lists, to take whatever COVID-19 vaccine was available, and to get vaccinated to protect themselves and prevent future lockdowns. He also called for a push to “mandate equity” in vaccine distribution. In April he welcomed Governor Gretchen Whitmer to a Flint clinic, stated that he had received two doses of Moderna, and said vaccination was another important tool alongside masks, hand-washing, and distancing, and that following the scientists would make the city victorious.
In January 2022 the city administration prepared a resolution that would have required employees working in city facilities to be fully vaccinated by late January or face weekly testing, masking around co-workers, and disciplinary action up to termination. After the Supreme Court blocked the federal large-employer rule, the resolution was reworked into a “more soft” program of incentives and likely mandatory testing. He later said he was leading by example as a vaccinated and boosted resident while noting that Flint’s vaccination rates remained well below surrounding communities.
Neeley took both Moderna doses, called the needle the path to victory, prepared a rule that could end in termination, then softened it when the federal hammer was lifted. The product did not stop infection or transmission. He is still mayor. The city workers who faced the original draft that included termination, and the residents he told to keep calling the list, did not get a correction when the tool he called important failed the one job he assigned it.
Sheldon said following the scientists would make them victorious. Then the victory did not arrive, “following the scientists” proved disastrous, and the mayor still has a job.

“There is an enormous river of COVID transmission among the unvaccinated. Unfortunately, it allows for things like the delta variant. … If this keeps spreading it’s a matter of time before this virus mutates and we’re talking about a different kind of variant.”
Michael Duggan holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan (1980) and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (1983). He is a former Wayne County prosecutor, deputy county executive, CEO of the Detroit Medical Center, and mayor of Detroit for three terms until early 2026. No M.D., no epidemiology, no immunology, no public-health degree, no clinic. The credential for declaring an “enormous river of COVID transmission among the unvaccinated” is a Bachelor of Arts degree and a J.D.
In January 2021 he expanded vaccination sites and said getting the shot was not mandatory for city workers, though they would receive extra pay for it. In March he initially declined 6,200 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, telling residents that Pfizer and Moderna were “the best.” In August he warned of a river of transmission among the unvaccinated that allowed Delta to spread and could produce still more variants, and he began offering third doses to immunocompromised residents.
In September he said the city was raising its employee testing standard to match President Biden’s large-employer rule, while stating that mandates ought to come from the state. In November he said he was exploring a vaccine requirement for his own appointees and “safe zones” in the mayor’s office where everyone attending an in-person meeting would need to be inoculated, noting that the city’s vaccination rate remained low and that the office should establish a leadership role. He said there was no conversation about requiring the shot for union or civil-service employees.
He ran a medical center, took the boosters, told Detroit the unvaccinated were the current that kept the virus mutating, then limited the hardest rule to the people he appointed. The product did not stop infection or transmission. He left office and joined a law firm. The city workers who faced the tighter testing schedule, and the residents he warned were creating the next variant by declining the shot, did not get a correction when the river he described kept flowing after the needles went in.
He said the unvaccinated were the river of transmission. Then the vaccinated kept getting wet, and the narrative drowned.
