SCREAM with Ryan C Showers Podcast

A Guide to SCREAM 7 ❤️‍🔥 Over the last six months, my team has been committed to thoroughly covering one of the most important and best films in the franchise, SCREAM 7. These podcast episodes reflect good-faith, substantive analysis of a film to which the critics were blatantly unfair and online discourse has been unkind and one-dimensional. I love this franchise, the character of Sidney Prescott by Neve Campbell, and the art created by Kevin Williamson — it was an honor to study the film so intensely on my show. Very proud of these shows. - Sidney Evans Character Arc - Eps. 317 & 318 - Gale Weathers Character Arc - Eps. 319 & 320 - Jessica & Anna Camp - Ep. 321 - Explaining the Motive & Updated Ghostface Ranking - Ep. 322 - Scream 7’s Themes, AI & Stu - Ep. 325 - Tatum Evans As a New Main Character - Ep. 330 - Top 7 Moments in SCREAM 7 - Ep. 348 - Ranking Every Scene in SCREAM 7 - Ep. 350 Listen to these episodes on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Youtube. The SCREAM trio, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Dewey Riley (David Arquette) ❤️‍🔥 How do you rank the trio? My ranking is (1) Sidney > (2) Gale > (3) Dewey — these are easily the three greatest characters in the series. I adore all three so much. I previously had Sidney and Gale tied for first place. After Scream VI and 7, this shifted: Sidney only got better by skipping VI and was perfectly executed in SCREAM 7. Between her flawless original storyline and her return, Neve Campbell proved that she is the center of this universe. I love Gale and historically she’s always been the most dynamic. 1-5 was amazing evolution. However, Scream VI‘s horrible writing diminished Gale, her consistency, and her arc — thankfully, Scream 7 restored the quality for the character. And I love Dewey. This is Question 1 in the 30 Years of SCREAM Interview on my show this season.

Happy November! One of the best parts of Halloween Ends is to experience the peace and hope that comes for Laurie Strode as we move into November, away from Michael Myers and Halloween. 🍂 Personally, November is my favorite month. It’s the ideal weather; you get the last bit of Halloween, Thanksgiving and peak autumn, and the beginning of Christmas; and it’s the coziest month of the year. 🍁

Happy Halloween!!!!
