aang in the movie after katara revives him: you’re incredible, katara! :D
aang in the novel: They said, ‘do you love her to death?’ I said, ‘speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life.’

Ignoring the fact that it is basic human decency, the story revolves around him lmaooo.
just like korra revolves around korra and seven havens revolves around the twins

It actually does because he’s the avatar. it revolved around him, then revolved around Korra, then revolves around Pavi & Nisha. This is the avatar show.

Love the Gaang, but GOD they were not perfect in the slightest.
There are several occasions in ATLA that I can name off the top of my head where they dismissed Aang’s feelings regarding his culture going extinct in favor of other cultures.
Aang antis keep saying the Aang novel makes him look bad like his entire friend group ain’t gaf abt his culture for ten years while he built theirs and incorporated those cultures into his lifestyle meanwhile they’re thinking Aang just got over the genocide when he was 12 #awks
