A great day in North Platte!
From a new airport terminal—made possible by federal funding I worked to secure—to a future landmark to honor the North Platte Canteen, it's exciting to see what's possible when we invest in Nebraska.
Good to be in Fremont to visit with Mayor Sookram and city leadership. Fremont is growing quickly, and it was great to hear about the projects happening in Dodge County.
Midwest Housing Equity Group is working to expand affordable housing in Nebraska. I toured a townhome at The Row, a new affordable housing development in Fremont. We discussed the critical role of the CDFI Fund in making projects like this possible.
Eric Hamilton has built an impressive legal career defined by integrity, sound judgment, and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law. He has served Nebraska with distinction, and I am confident he will continue that tradition of service on the federal bench. I visited the Nebraska Information Analysis Center, where law enforcement and public safety officials work together to share critical information and identify potential threats. I appreciated hearing about their work and touring the facility, including the computer crime lab I helped secure federal funding for.
