I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Narrowbodies on flights longer than 5 hours (or any flight requiring a meal service in North America) should not be a thing
Now for XLR update: I smelled fumes before takeoff on both legs so that is still an issue on Airbus, the bathroom situation is ridiculous (1 in front & 3 in the back of coach) so we’re constantly moving carts to let people pass by, tight galley, trash management is difficult, crew rest seats are a joke, first class is so tight you can’t pass anyone in the aisle, premium economy/ coach meal trays are tiny so you’re stacking everything and it’s falling off… shall I keep going? It’s not flight attendant friendly. Hard to work, especially in first class where you’re dealing with the entertainment screens that have to be pushed aside every time you serve someone.
The economy of the entire Bay Area needs to fail and I want to waste 2 hours of my life in traffic every day because I hate trains and don’t want to pay a 1/2 cent sales tax.
SFCTA released some slides for the Geary-19th subway study and among it the ridership projections for this thing with through running to the east bay are pretty insane.
It's very...very clear to me that Link21 should've selected BART

Friendly reminder this guy (who blocked me in spite of living in his district at the time btw) championed this exact style of LRT in Toronto, particularly on suburban corridors like Finch, Sheppard, and Eglinton.

Crazy what happens when Prop 13 fucks you out of raising revenue from property taxes, all the jobs are in SF or SJ so you can’t raise payroll taxes, and every other city in the bay dumps their problems on you.
