This comes just 2 days after Microsoft asked nearly 60k of its employees to voluntarily resign in an effort to downsize.
The employee who leaked this clip of the meeting to me was one of many who have expressed concerns to me. Multiple Microsoft employees have told me they feel as though MSFT doesn’t give them the same amount of respect and care.
Many Microsoft employees are asking why H-1B workers aren’t the first to be cut during a downsize since MSFT claims none of the downsizing is performance based.
Employees are curious why American workers aren’t being put first in the United States.

I've discovered that a root problem is Japanese creators don't realize that having your publishing house and your publishing agent be the same company is a massive ethical breach in NA and EU.
The publishing houses get exclusive global rights or you don't get published in Japan at all.
Then they create massive complications to distribute internationally because they are very, very good at local and very, very bad at global.
Everywhere else is like, "You just have your agent contract a different publisher in Germany / America / France and they do everything very efficiently," but the Japanese are like, "How is that even legal?"
In fact, most of the bad localizations are caused because the [JP] publishers have a very limited list of subsidiaries and foreign partners and many of those foreign companies and distribution chains are just crazy.
Kodansha's a good example. They got roped into a proprietary manga-reader app for mobile devices. USA doesn't have any laws requiring them to censor manga, but Google and Apple imposed their own App Store censorship AND they take ~25% of the purchase price on everything Kodansha sells.
The customers got ridiculously high prices and vandalized manga while some swindling middle-men ran off with massive profits leaving a pittance for Kodansha and the authors.
No wonder they are reluctant to do global business!

The full story of how this ad got made is obvious now.
1. Vivek's team produced the ad.
2. Campaigners refused to greenlight it.
3. Vivek 'leaks' the sympathetic right-wing media.
4. Media publishes it for him.
5. He boosts it to circumvent FEC rules.
This explains everything:
"Who made it?" Vivek and his team.
"Did it run?"It never ran on TV.
"Why does it look like a real ad?" Was meant to be one.
"Where's the FEC disclaimer?" It didn't need one.
"How did it leak?" Deliberately to RW media.
"Why did they do it like this?"
Someone very loudly decried it as being below the belt and a bad look, and Vivek (being the 170 IQ elite human capital that he is) realized he could get the message out, smear his opponent, keep his name off the ad, and (most importantly) save money by simply leaking it to imbeciles like Megyn Kelly.
His problem, like every midwit who thinks they're a genius, was going full bore ahead without ever stopping to think "maybe I'm wrong and this is a bad idea."
30 seconds on Twitter and anyone even slightly critical of Vivek starts searching her early life history, reads public stories about her abusive upbringing, and pulls up the public court records.
Vivek Ramaswamy hired a woman to smear her own daughter. A woman so vile, she slept with a man after knowing he had raped not only her daughter, but his own as well. A woman who probably helped him escape custody after a grand jury indicted him for incestuous rape of a child so he could die of natural causes in her loving arms.

What I'm getting from the current 'oh no, the AI are copying games' panic is that most people have such limited knowledge that they don't even know about the games that these devs are copying.
I'm not entirely sure that these people understand physical card games, board games, and TTRPs existed long before code could reproduce them.
Ideas are cycled and recycled endlessly.
Flying as a mode beyond stunts doesn't neccesarily seem practical with this method, even if it awesome.
However my mind does go to smaller versions of this being implemented for emergency braking or collison avoidance.

The reason old white Boomers and the Republican establishment spend all their time attacking young white men is because they need to validate their deep psychological guilt for racially discriminating against their own children and grandchildren.
They're traitors. It was a betrayal.
They did everything they could to help the rest of the world, by selling off the birthright that belonged to the next generation.
They kept their own money, power, and status, while refusing to hire or mentor their own descendants, and treating foreign barbarians as rightful heirs with a superior moral claim.
They will do anything to avoid admitting the truth of how much they crushed young white men.
Now they're looking down and seeing their children and grandchildren struggling. Boomers love cruises because it allows them to get away from American cities flooded by brown biomass foreigners swarming around in hordes. Boomers feel an intense cognitive dissonance that this favela Brazil-Mogadishu-Mumbai slum-world isn't what they were promised.
Boomers need a story to rationalize and justify how much they've wrecked the lives of their children and grandchildren, and how much they've given away America's wealth and factories and careers to foreign countries. They desperately need to believe that they did everything right, that their children and grandchildren were morally inferior.
Otherwise their entire lives were a lie. It's too painful for them. The truth threatens their Self-Image. Boomers will burn all of Western Civilization to the ground before they admit maybe they were wrong.
