Nyoni should’ve received a red for stamping down on Odegaard’s ankle. Isak should’ve had a penalty from Timbers shirt pull. Officiating dire again but everything evened out in the end. #LIVARS

Imagine being a seasoned professional footballer with 5-10 years under your belt and 16yo Max Dowman gets brought on to nutmeg and run rings around you 😭😭😭 Nightmare material! #ARSEVE

It’s 3pm on a Saturday. The 3pm blackout is in full effect and no premier league fixtures are on live TV in the UK. It’s 3pm on a Saturday and I am still not going to my local non-league club to watch a game of footy nor am I tuning in to a game from the lower leagues. The blackout isn’t doing what it says on the tin.

Great news. The far-left have lost this one.
🚨 BREAKING: The Government has officially approved the Jackdaw gas field for North Sea drilling It's the UK’s largest known untapped gas reserve and will start to supply gas to British homes and businesses from the end of this month

Andy Burnham mentions using political power to influence the premier league. Imagine the political power he’s using behind the scenes to look after Man City. The man is rotten to the core!
🚨 WATCH: Andy Burnham says he has an idea to ban VAR in Labour's next election manifesto "You'd accept it if it got decisions right, but it doesn't get decisions right"

I reckon PSG have got at least two more goals in them 😬
What's your score prediction for this one? 🔮

Bitter rival fans and ex- pros that don’t like us trying to make the league even harder for us to win. Chelsea and Man City have won 13 of the last 20 Premier Leagues. Leicester won 1. 14 of the last 20 Premier Leagues have been won by teams that wear blue. If the Premier League is dominated by any cartel it’s a blue one.
Current Premier League rules mean only Man Utd Liverpool and Arsenal can compete for the Premier League consistently. So the league is innately not an open and fair competition.

Joe Cole has to say this if he wants his own achievements taken seriously. Abramovich wrote the financial doping rule book. That’s why you won’t hear any ex-player from his era speak out about City’s cheating - It would be a self own.
Joe Cole and this “performance” in this “debate” is shambolic. Allowing this kind of narrative to even be presented just downplays what Manchester City have done to the ENTIRE English football pyramid. Absolutely stinks.

Quaresma, Pato, Julio Baptista, Kompany, VanDen Borre were all wonder kids in early Football/Championship manager games. I’d snag them and then spend the big money on R9, Seedorf, Buffon. I’d start with Arsenal and my team would usually be something like this after a few seasons - Buffon Cole/Clichy, Campbell/Toure, VanDen Borre/Kompany, Lauren/Eboue. Quaresma/Pires, Gilberto/Seedorf, Pirlo/Fabregas/Baptista, Ljungberg/Reyes Henry/Pato, Bergkamp/R9 Crazy Subs like Pennant, Fabregas, Lehmann etc.. Peak football management gaming and players we will never see the likes of again.
There are footballers out there who have no idea they're club legends to some bloke in England because of his Football Manager save from eight years ago. Who's your most obscure FM cult hero?

I can’t think of a better UEFA president than Arsene Wenger. When you look at his comments over the years, more often than not, he’s been on the right side of history. Get rid of that “clear daylight” offside rule however.

If Andy Burnham doesn’t come out now and reinforce the independence of the premier league, and the processes of the independent panel that investigated Man City’s dodgy dealings we all know what it means.

Is this what Andy Burnham means when he says the Anu Dhabi group has put money into Manchester?

When we unwind City’s fake $900m, are HMRC going to refund the Corp Tax they paid on profits they didn’t make? 🤔

This whole city situation has made me so angry. As a lifelong football fan to see corruption on this scale and to see the damage it has done to other clubs is incredibly sad. I’m and Arsenal fan, I think about all the talent they took from us - paying Nasri treble what we could, taking Adebayor who at the time was one of the top strikers in world football, Clichy, Toure and Sagna who were all elite defenders - it makes you angry. I’m mainly angry for teams like stoke who possibly should have had an FA Cup. When have their fans ever been able to celebrate at Wembley? There are many other examples over the years. Not to mention the teams that were relegated or failed to qualify for continental football thanks to results that went Man City’s way that may not have happened without all the financial doping. I’m increasingly frustrated by the Man City hierarchy for doubling down and their fans for the complete cognitive dissonance - WE ALL KNOW what was going on. The Premier League and independent inquiry have confirmed our suspicions. I’m going to have to lay off X for a few days because all of the arguing is unhealthy. My last comment is this - Relegate them, strip their titles and award them to the runner-up, massive points deductions and fines should follow, more importantly GET MANSOUR OUT OF OUR GAME!

It’s fucking fraud!!! What don’t people understand. If you were to cook your own books by misfiling or not recording your incomes and outgoing you’d be up before the beak! Massive fines and even custodial sentences would follow. This isn’t about kicking a ball about on the pitch or where Pep had a great starting 11 - it’s about severe criminal negligence. These fans have their heads in the sand over how serious this is.
On paper yeah it’s “cheating” but let’s be honest it’s not is it, a billionaire bought a club outside of the big 4 and wanted them to be the best He cooked the books to use his own money and make them a huge footballing power that’s now self sufficient Wouldn’t surprise me if they get let off with a fine They haven’t damaged the club they have improved it They haven’t damaged the league they have made it exciting, the league now has 6/7 teams going for the top 4 positions Let Newcastle do the same
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Violating rules is quite literally the definition of cheating: merriam-webster.com/dictionary/che… An independent commission found Manchester City guilty of serious breaches of Premier League financial fair play rules premierleague.com/en/news/472777… This means they cheated and so if we’re being “honest” we would call it cheating

All I want is - Manchester City to be relegated from the national leagues. City group to be banned from owning an English football team. A 5 year transfer embargo. Massive fines. And their supporters tears to be bottled for refreshments.

Fucking hell im agreeing with @StanCollymore Man City must be hammered into oblivion for the integrity of the British game. Mansour has to sell up. There can be no trust in the Man City ownership after all the lies. We don’t want people like that involved in the English game. This version of City must be destroyed.

All Premier League fans need to double down. Stay away from away games at the Etihad - boycott them. Pressure your clubs to have no dealings with Man City. Put pressure on the league to expel them, threaten to boycott your own home game and stop watching the Premier League if necessary. We can’t let City get away with this. They must be destroyed.
