Comparing basketball eras is hard bc the rules, pace, ath. training, and style of play change dramatically from one decade to the next. Players from different generations face completely different contexts, making direct statistical or stylistic comps hypothetical and unprovable.
Why do the best players on the planet need additional steps on their moves? What is a defender suppose to do when the offense has the advantage of walking into their shots?
Every time I see him I think what might've been...
Comey: "Well, they're back again.
It would almost be funny if it weren't such an appalling abuse of the Department of Justice. One that we cannot become numb to.
Nothing's changed with me. I'm still innocent. I'm still not afraid of these people. And I still believe in the independent federal judiciary.
And I'm still lucky to have an amazing family and an incredible group of lawyers and will stand up in court and fight the latest. And whatever comes after this, the next couple of years are going to be hard for all of us.
It's really important that we stand straight and keep the faith in America."
That's too bad but I understand.
What a guy. What a story. It's good to know someone you thought was a good guy actually was one.
Sally Field says Robin Williams shut down filming on Mrs. Doubtfire for the day when he found out her father had just died
"I got a call from the doctor that my father had had another massive stroke."
"But please lean down and tell him that Sally says goodbye."
"I was doing the scene about the kids being taken away from the father. It was what happened to my father."
"And Robin turned around and said, that's it for the day, guys. We're just wrapped here. We're done for the day."
She went straight from that phone call to a scene about a family getting split up, and she was a child of divorce herself. Nobody on that set knew. Robin just noticed something was off and asked her. Then he did the one thing the guy at the top of the call sheet can always do. He ended the day and walked her out himself. More than thirty years later she still tells it like it happened last week.

Mixed bag today! I started on the elliptical, spin class was next, and followed by getting my steps in.

Has to be very difficult replacing a legend, especially if the legend is still around commanding the spotlight.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has reportedly banned Nick Saban from attending team practices after growing increasingly frustrated with players seeking advice from the former head coach instead of him.
DeBoer reportedly became suspicious when several defensive players began referring to Saban as “Coach” and DeBoer as “the new guy.”
