It’s actually weird watching these singers line up wearing that chequered table cloth. Because had Aurora worn it at the Nova Music Festival while dancing as if she’s on magic mushrooms as she does in this videos, that table cloth and her stupid blonde hair would have been found soaked in her own blood. The terrorists wouldn’t have spared her. They’d have butchered her like they did over 400 other people.
Yet here we are with the dumb blonde singing in honor and solidarity with the most violent and deranged Islamic terrorists and pretending it’s all about peace and love. She’s a total joke

It really does warrant asking "what kind of voter demographic is receptive to a candidate who talks about dating his own daughters and sisters."
Because those people are probably why Maga overperforms the polling.

The more I think about this, the more I think it’s not just seriously wild, it’s seriously wrong. It’s Parliament, our collective forum, suddenly adopting a hierarchy of hurt feelings and distress. @CommonsSpeaker this is not a wise development.
Replying to @LucyHunterB @lnmackenzie1
It’s seriously wild that Parliament has heard detailed statements on, amongst other things: the Holocaust, the Omagh bombing, Hillsborough, Aberfan, & the 7/7 terrorist attacks.
But the only time in 200 years they’ve needed a trigger warning was @Jebadoo2 pitching up to tell them it was wrong to sterilise autistic gay teenagers.

Gender identities are completely made up bullsh-t and there is no need for them to be in law at all, impacting everyone else’s rights based on nonsense.

It’s not coincidental that the ONLY time trigger warnings have been suggested previously was regarding a debate on trans prisoners in 2022.
No other issue / event has been afforded that consideration. Not genocide, not infant deaths, not terrorism. Nothing.

Putin here is regurgitating the trans propaganda that is "spousal veto". It is an all too common, wilful misrepresentation of what is actually being argued. No one is saying that one spouse should have “veto rights over the life choices” of another.
A spouse is perfectly free to make their own life choices. What does not follow is that the State should therefore be entitled to alter the legal character of a marriage, a legal relationship involving TWO people, while denying the other party consent and, in Ireland, even notification.
A woman does not acquire a “veto” over her husband simply because she retains rights concerning a legal relationship to which she is herself a party.
The distinction really isn’t complicated. You have autonomy over yourself. You do not acquire unilateral authority over a bilateral legal relationship simply by calling your decision a personal one.
Replying to @eyre_ann
It is completely against human rights law to start expecting one partner in a marriage to have veto rights over the life choices of another partner, and will automatically lead to the usual patriarchial abuses such as forcing women to stay in abusive relationships.

Surely the governing body will have to act now?

If classic uni Rugby Lads went around in huge fake boobs they would rightly be told off or suspended for doing something childish & insulting / degrading to women - but if you are doing it for sexual gratification that's somehow OK. Make it make sense!
I’ve now been contacted by numerous people about the ‘Boob Man of Oxford’.
Those who work or study at Oxford have asked for anonymity, so I can’t share identifying details. But some common themes have emerged:
- Unsurprisingly, women describe feeling uncomfortable about a male lecturer wearing what appear to be oversized prosthetic breasts in their place of work or study
- Some question whether there is a sexual element or whether it is a ‘power play’. These are their concerns, rather than established explanations for his behaviour - but are legitimate concerns nonetheless
- They say they’re afraid to raise concerns because he is surrounded by ‘allies’, including staff, who defend his appearance as 'self-expression'
One source has even wondered whether this is an elaborate stunt to embarrass the university - along the lines of Josh Seiter, who pretended to be a trans woman as an 'experiment'. Another source says this has been going on for three years - which does seem a long time to keep up the act.
There is interest in covering this in the mainstream press. What would help now is more documentary evidence: complaint letters, responses or correspondence showing how concerns have been handled.
