RIYADH AIRPORT IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY
Riyadh International Airport has been hit by a Yemeni missile again today.
Saudi Arabia cannot keep its own capital's airport open, and the people who lend it money have started charging for that. King Khalid airport in Riyadh has been shut to normal flights since 10 October, the disruption has cost it about $50 million, and the Houthis now tell airlines to avoid every Saudi airport except Mecca and Medina.

💬 𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦 - Trey Nyoni on Ronald Araujo:
“Yeah, I think Ronald has kind of inspired everyone to fight. Coming from where he was, he was a captain, so that in itself already shows how much of a leader he is. And I think even though obviously at the minute he doesn’t speak much English, on the pitch you can see that he’s willing to fight and willing to give everything.”
“When you see a player like that, I think it helps everyone else understand what it means to even just play here. So, I think it is important to have someone like him who’s got a lot of experience and can help everyone else.”

Aramco, one of the world’s most valuable companies, is reportedly seeking a $10 billion loan after just months of war engulfing Saudi Arabia.
A reminder that even oil wealth has limits when war comes at a price. The economic fallout may be only beginning.

Hello @andyburnham
I have been detained by Israeli security forces all day. Along with with MPs @labourlewis, @larabirdsnp, MSP Kate Nevans, former MP @SamTarry and campaigners from across the world, we were turned back because they don’t want anyone seeing their ethnic cleansing.

“Problem for Jayden has been availabilty. He has had some setbacks and in and out, but he is now building some minutes, scored the other day, is in a good place. He has mainly been with us in European games. I hope he progresses and pushes to fight for minutes.”

It's almost like they want to erase the entire history of a people.
One of the highlights of my time in Jordan was visiting UNWRA archives and examining the index cards and other records of the 750,000 Palestinians kicked off their land at the Nakba in 1948. They used to be kept in Gaza and were airlifted out at the beginning of the genocide- Israel has destroyed all the archives that remained. They form the best evidence for some form of reparations in the future and are now being scanned and digitalised

Jamie Carragher on Jérémy Jacquet:
“It’s also to do with Virgil’s age, but it almost feels like Jacquet is the first centre-back who’s starting to look after Virgil rather than the other way around.
“Even though he’s only played eight Premier League games, I already feel he’s an upgrade on everybody else Virgil has played alongside.
“I know it’s early to say, but he really does look the part.
“Virgil was always going to need that at some stage where he just has to play his own game. He can’t look after a back four. He can’t look after a centre-back partner. I think we’re at that stage now with Van Dijk, still playing well, but he should just be left to play his own game.”- @WeAreTheOverlap #LFC

🎥 "Even if you were to get rid of Netanyahu, that wouldn't change what's happening on the ground.
The soldiers would still feel like no one can touch them."
The @HindRFoundation has filed an urgent request with the U.S. Department of Justice demanding the immediate investigation, arrest and prosecution of Sean Glass, who it says is currently in the United States and commanded the company implicated in the killing of five-year-old Hind Rajab.
The foundation says the "Vampire Empire" Company he led is also implicated in the killing of members of her family and the medics sent to rescue them. Its investigation places Glass and his troops in the direct vicinity of Hind's vehicle, and it says he most likely gave the order to open fire.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib has backed the call, urging the Justice Department to "comply with the law and take action."
Drop Site's @maysamustafa spoke with @jake_romm, HRF's U.S. representative, about why the foundation pursues soldiers on the ground and not only leaders like Netanyahu. The War Crimes Act gives the U.S. jurisdiction over suspects on its soil, and the Geneva Conventions obligate Washington to prosecute. What's missing, Romm says, is political will.

The joint defense agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan is for the defense of Israel, not, as they claim, for the defense of Mecca and Medina.
Their visit to Iran is aimed at de-escalating tensions between Iran and Israel And America, at the request of Netanyahu and Trump, and on the sidelines, the Saudi-Turkish-Pakistani delegation discussed the war between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Tehran responded that the decision regarding Yemen is in Sana'a, and if you want us to play the role of mediator, implement Sana'a's conditions.
