Take it in. The first female chancellor. The first housing secretary who's actually lived in social housing. The first education secretary who was on free school meals. An energy secretary who actually believes in aggressively fighting climate change. Not a bad afternoon.

So proud to see @Sim1H16’s assembly this morning to Yr8. You’re an inspiration to so many students - and me! If only there were more willing to stand up for our community when I was that age, maybe things would have been easier to process. Thank you for everything! 💚 – at South West, England

Motherhood may be an incredible thing, but please can we stop making it the only female life experience that has value?

In the past 25 years, teachers real-term pay has decreased by 20%.
MP’s pay has risen by 23% real-terms.
This is factual. Please don’t ignore this. Change has to happen now.

Anyone against public sector workers receiving a fair pay offer needs to see this.
Rishi Sunak is preparing his Government’s latest shameless CON - this time against our teachers. Watch this in disbelief & if you share my anger RT it widely. If UK news shows can’t get the job done let’s damn well do it ourselves!
