Why are people buying bottled water for an emergency when we drink tap water normally ? Why not simply fill empty bottles with tap water ? hmm ?

Been reading around on the stockpiling issue. Nobody thinks Russia will attack us, but a lot think the govt balls up with energy means we may have power cuts, shut downs and rationing. Back to the 70s possibly. Any other ideas?

I’ve never been to Ukraine. I have no plans to ever do so. It is about 1,500 miles from the UK. It is not in NATO. So how is Ukraine’s front line our front line? I have sympathy for Ukraine, but I don’t want my and other sons sent there to be slaughtered.

UK introduces new "Respect Orders" allowing courts to ban adults accused of anti-social behaviour from town centres & impose curfews, with violations punishable by up to 2 years in prison. And it applies only to British people.

Well it's going to be that time of year again when our pensioners will be sat in the cold because they can't afford to put their heating on. I bet they would love a nice warm hotel, 3 meals a day. Then I remembered they are not a priority.

National grid collapse due to data centre energy use. It is going to be a grim ‘festive season’. I resent having to spend a small fortune on firewood, army blankets, tinned food, water &c.

Ha … I can just see photographs of seniors attempting training assault course & 10 milers with 60lb packs, they were hard enough to do when I was 18, I'd have a heart attack if I tried now. This government is insane!!

No point filling your freezer if you are prepping, there will be power cuts and you will waste the lot. You need dried and tinned foods. Heard a lady today saying she now has three freezers in her garage, i suppose if she had a generator it might work if needed but naaaaa just saying.
