Tshwane MMC for Roads and Transport, Tlangi Mogale, has failed to retain her council seat following the 2026 Local Government Elections.
🔴 Fellow ANC MMC for Human Settlements, Aaron Maluleka, has also lost his seat.
𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗:
🟡 ANC secured 44 council seats.
🗳️ 43 ward seats and ONLY 1 PR seat.
📋 Eugene Modise – No. 1 on ANC PR list.
📋 Tlangi Mogale – No. 2.
📋 Aaron Maluleka – No. 3.
With only ONE PR seat available, Mogale and Maluleka failed to make it back into council.
The ANC finished THIRD in Tshwane, behind the DA and ActionSA.
