If #Councillors, #MP’s, #CouncilStaff … got on with their jobs the #Public would not need to tweet #CivicIssues. Also these people need to stop using #SocialMedia to #ShowBoat as it exposes no real work is actually being achieved. Tweeting is not the job. #Results are the job.

Yeah this is disgraceful. £10bn just given away to Ukraine, that money could have been used for so many things:

Ask him why does Ukraine get £10bn but the public who pay the taxes via the £100 each get £2bn?

Sounds like you should be speaking to the transport minister & the PM too. How many are travelling North to do interviews when the political hub is in London not the North.

Paid for first class, got the floor by the loo. Sounds like a question for the Chancellor tomorrow... Good luck, Martin 👍

On a train heading north to interview the Chancellor tomorrow morning. Being sat on the floor by the loo (even though itv had got me a 1st class ticket so I could be sure if a table to work on) isn't exactly assisting my prep. Prior train was canceled so this is double up.

Will this also allow airlines to turn away solo disabled people who they decide aren't able to travel on their own?

Passenger rights greenlit by MEPs to close a loophole allowing airlines to turn away passengers with reduced mobility
Once approved, airlines will allow disabled people opportunity to travel with companions free of charge – if required for safety reasons from 23 Oct 2027

New EU legislation will waive airfares for people accompanying disabled passengers if companion’s presence is deemed required by airline
Leaves a gap for passengers who need personal assistance, but whose accompaniment is not required by the airline

🚨Tommy Robinson was found guilty, basically, of journalism in the near Communist dystopia of Britain where the justice system is built to prosecute patriots for defending their families against rabid Left-wing journalists.
The nature of the charges against Tommy aren't the only ludicrous aspect of his trial.
The fact that a prosecutor pursued the charges and a judge allowed the case to continue are also problematic when for anyone else they would have laughed the reporters out of London for bringing them.
The jury pool was selected from an area where the voting demographic was 85% for Labour, LibDems, and Greens in the last general election -- some of the most vile "progressives" on Earth.
Lastly, this was not a unanimous verdict like we require in the U.S. when a man's freedom and life are on the line. It was a 10-2 majority which means there was reasonable doubt and a man may still go to prison for the crime of threatening to Journalism other journalists.

Leonard Cohen lived in Hampstead, London, at 19b Hampstead High Street (at the corner of Gayton Road) in late 1959 and early 1960.
He stayed in a boarding house run by Stella and Jake Pullman, sleeping in the sitting room in exchange for chores like carrying up coal to light the morning fires.
During this time, funded in part by a Canada Council writing grant, he worked on completing his first novel, The Favourite Game.
In April 1960, after roughly three months in the boarding house, he left London for the Greek island of Hydra.

When 7/7 happened in 2005 who would have imagined we'd appoint a pro-Palestinian Pakistani Muslim as the head of our security services?
