Cowboys owner Jerry Jones when asked about Trevon Diggs not being active Sunday night: "Diggs isn't healthy enough to be out there for us. Period. ... When we looked at practice, we didn't like what we saw relative to his health and ability to make plays." Diggs feels like he is ready to return and expected to play against the Vikings. He said he was upset when told Saturday that he would not be active. "Definitely disappointed." Diggs: "I don't know the special requirements that I need to show that I can play. I've been at practice. I've been practicing well, running around, doing what I'm supposed to. It's not my decision, at the end of the day. We just have to wait and see." Diggs said he doesn't think the accident that happened at his home back in October that resulted in him having a concussion has anything to do with the Cowboys not wanting him to play now. "Accidents happen all the time." He declined to get into specifics. "It was an at-home accident." Diggs continues to say that he wants to remain a Cowboy. "I love Dallas. Of course I want to be here."
