They haven’t scored an offensive TD in the first quarter all season.
They rank at the bottom in almost every meaningful metric.
Sunday’s Lions loss furthered what’s been evident with the Vikings’ offense for some time. Something significant must change: nytimes.com/athletic/7746316…

I wonder if today's result makes a Taylor trade more or less likely. I mean he is like 100% getting traded, he was crying and hugging teammates at end of game today. Idk if it's Minnesota

At the moment, Raiders QB Kirk Cousins has 18 touchdowns. The entire Vikings offense, defense, and special teams has 11.
Replying to @MatthewColler
@MatthewColler Kyler Murray sucks.

As the #Colts continue to field trade offers for star RB Jonathan Taylor, sources say the Vikings, Giants, Broncos, Bengals and Packers are among the teams that have checked in.
The asking price is believed to be too high right now, but sources do believe a trade is leaning to be more likely than not at this point.

For the Vikings specifically, the Taylor conversation is less about money for ‘26 than it is the future money on his contract. Pay a premium at the RB position in ‘27 and ‘28, and you’re then having to make a bunch of real tough decisions with a ton of major roster questions (QB, TE, LB, DT, CB, etc.) after this season.
Jonathan Taylor's contract is very team friendly if a team trades for him. Would only owe about $4.4M this year and up top $1M in incentives.
Despite signing a new contract this summer no 2027 salary is guaranteed for skill until February so if it didnt work out a team could cut ties with no other salary in play
