I think the funniest part about Godzilla fans is that we kind of don't fucking play around. Like this is a silly insane franchise, but it was only after watching Minus Zero in a packed theater that I realized like... We fucking lock in for the movie.

Thing I wanna say for aspiring transfems out there: it's never too late. I legit thought it was too late for me to ever be clocked as a woman since I waited till my 30s for HRT, but I'm already looking incredible after just 2 years and my body's still not even close to done yet~

It's incredible to me that I'm thinking THIS MUCH over a fricking GODZILLA FILM And it's the reason why I think these are some of the strongest films I've ever seen. Godzilla is probably the last franchise anyone thinks of to have these kind of layers, but yet... It DOES.

There's something beautiful about Minus Zero. When I left, I wasn't certain what the film was trying to say, but then I realized, compared to most Godzilla films, even most films, I was thinking DEEPLY about what the film's message was. I felt a freedom to interpret the message+

Look I'm gonna be so fucking wild about the new music theme here because it's like a perfect pair up to the Minus Zero theme set up last time, has this sense of acting as an alarm but pulled off through orchestral means, ITS SO FUCKING GOOD

For a movie to have all these elements, the sadness, the humor, the monsters, the outlandish and the realistic... I can't help but feel that Minus Zero continues to follow Minus One's ability to defy the odds. To have both the unrealistic and the uncomfortably real co-exist.

Godzilla Minus Zero is a little messy but fuck me if it isn't still earnest and well made. It's more than I can say about other films that the entire time I was thinking about what things meant thematically. That new music theme is so fucking amazing too. Amazing visuals.
