If Trump had thought it at the time you know he would have said it! And smiled when he did! I laughed!

After the rally, Trump humbly stated: “Look, nobody’s ever done a Texas Tech Guns Up like I did. My Guns Up was the best Guns Up ever done — in the history of Guns Up. Probably the best hand gesture of any type. People are saying it was the greatest Guns Up of all time. Other people try Guns Up, they wave their hands around, it’s weak, it’s sad. Mine? Tremendous. The energy, the size, the way I did it — nobody else even comes close. Many, many people have told me, ‘Sir, that was the best Guns Up we’ve ever seen.’ And they’re right. Believe me.”

Wow, what entitlement. I remember Matt Wells calling and missing a field goal on third down. Thanks to @CodyC64 Tech is a rising powerhouse, same for Big 12. OP needs to pipe down, and show his gratitude. He can start by saying Thank you.

Life lessons were learned. 1. Don't quote tweet people to tell them to shut up and be surprised when they respond. 2. If you decide to quote tweet someone to tell them to shut up, use a burner that isn't going to be traced back to your employer.

I've read up on this now, and I'm with my Canyon Eagle and Texas Tech brother @CodyC64. It's ok to ruffle feathers in service of the mission of Texas Tech and advancing West Texas. That's in our DNA.
I've been offline today, can somebody explain the kerfuffle with Cody Campbell?

Appreciate the thought, Larry, but we have actually had the worst coach in the Big 12 a couple of times in the last 15 years, so we know what that looks like. Joey is great, and we are lucky to have him.

Arizona fans repackage Swanson as Mexican food.
Travel tip for all Arizona fans heading to Lubbock this week: eat before you leave, and bring your own food.

Yes. Let's move on from a coach who took a team that hadn't had a winning conference record since 2009, and -Has never had a losing conference record -Won the Big 12 and made the CFP Oh and before you start with the tExAs aNd Ou ArN't In ThE cOnFeReNcE BS He's 2-1 against them
When does Texas Tech start thinking about replacing Joey McGuire? I understand what he’s done but that’s a lot of money to spend on a roster and get your ass beat by Cincinnati. Do Tech fans really think they’re gonna win a championship with him as Coach?

All #TexasTech fans need to read this. Guns up!
In February of 2015, a coach in East Texas named Andy Evans lost his 18 year old son Scott in a car accident. Evans is one of the great high school coaches in that part of the state. After he lost Scott he could barely function. He kept a sofa in his office, and he has said that he would go in to work and lie down on it. Somebody asked him to come help out at Beckville for one year. He stayed seven. Seven years in a town he had no particular reason to stay in. There was a sixth grader there named J'Koby Williams. Evans took him under his wing, and the boy did not leave him alone with it. Williams hugged him. Not once. Every single day, for years, he found Andy Evans and he hugged him and he told him he loved him. Here is what Evans says about that now. "That kid had a lot to do with saving my life, and that's why he's so special to me." Evans is 60 now. He and Williams still talk all the time, and Williams calls him Paw-Paw. Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal is the one who found this and wrote it down. Now understand who that sixth grader turned into. Beckville is a 2A town of about 800 people near the Louisiana line. Williams finished high school there with 6,401 rushing yards and 98 touchdowns, which works out to 12.5 yards every time he carried the ball. He ran for 303 yards and four touchdowns in one playoff game. He scored 32 rushing touchdowns as a senior. He also won three Texas state championships in the 110 meter hurdles, and five state titles overall. He picked Texas Tech over Texas, LSU, Michigan, Baylor, TCU, SMU and Houston. As a freshman he got his first start in the Liberty Bowl and ran for 123 yards. Last season he went for 787 yards, caught 30 passes, took a kickoff 99 yards against Oklahoma State and finished as a finalist for the award that goes to the most versatile player in college football. He is not the whole offense. He has 538 yards this season and he splits carries, and Texas Tech is 6 and 0 because they spent an enormous amount of money rebuilding the defense, not because of him. But he is on the field, at number eight in the country, playing at Cincinnati this weekend. And here is the part worth sitting with. Andy Evans did not get his son back. Nothing fixes that. What happened instead is that his older son Jaxon and a group of junior high kids in Beckville, Texas kept showing up, and one of them hugged him every day for years until the man could stand up again. That kid carries the ball for the number eight team in the country.

This is a horrible decision by Baylor. They should have let him complete the season, and next season too! (And maybe the one after that..)
Sources: Baylor has fired coach Dave Aranda.

Congrats to Cincinnati and UCF. People are asking how crow tastes? Don’t know, it is one loss, and the BIG 10 and SEC see the writing on the wall. Spot the ball.

Gotta tell y'all; it's still WAY WAY more fun being a Red Raider when a single loss causes such an epic crash out by our fans vs perpetually being 7-5/6-6.
