This is real courage and morality. I salute WC kitchen! Thank you
As the great people of Oleshky arrived to Ukraine after a long trip @WCKitchen lead by Yuliya is ready with borscht, and many other Ukranian dishes! The route was long: from Oleshky through Crimea to Anapa in Russia, then a flight to Belarus and onward by road into Chernihiv region. After a journey like that, warm, good food matters a great deal. #ChefsForUkraine Proud that the teams were first in Irpin and Bucha, in Kherson….so many special powerful moments! now here…Ukrainians are the best of us!

SPECIAL REPORT: Russian military victory over Ukraine is not inevitable. It is extraordinarily unlikely, in fact, unless Western support for Ukraine collapses. There is simply no inevitable correlation between the relative size of combatants and the outcome of a war — particularly when the war is existential for the smaller state but not for the larger one, as is true today. Russian President Vladimir Putin is nevertheless trying once again to breathe life into the myth of inevitable Russian military victory in order to persuade the United States and other supporters of Ukraine to compel Kyiv to surrender. Ukraine, not Russia, has actually held the initiative in key sectors of the frontline for much of the year and has developed a number of ways of offsetting the overall Russian manpower advantage. Russia’s population and relative (but diminishing) wealth will let Putin continue his war for a long time, to be sure. But Ukraine can also continue fighting for its existence as long as Western support continues.

“If you’re not angry, you’re not listening!”
I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.

Yes a conscience and a moral compass! Republicans listen up and start to lead! You’ll have a lame duck prez so you better choose the right side of history.
Churchill could have shortened WW2 by years if he had just “done a deal” with Hitler. George Washington could have done a deal to end the American Revolution. Zelenskyy is in good company.

Steve’s reporting from Moscow illuminates the Russian gains from Trump’s strategy of scapegoating the Ukrainians for the price of diesel in the the midterms. Is this the path to peace? share.google/LOunu6WlXp56fCf…

Another way to think about Trump announcement today: If he increased US diesel imports from Canada by 4%, he would gain as much fuel as from this Russia deal. But the Canadians are global super-villains, so who wants to buy from them when you could enrich Putin instead?

An oil terminal in Rostov is transferring its diesel to the cloud. That's where Trump can get it if he wants to.

Yes he is a disgrace. He should have seen that by attacking Iran he risked losing the oil tanker traffic through the Str of Hormuz. That is the true reason why 20% of the world’s petroleum has been displaced! To blame Ukraine Trump has reached a new low in a long line of lows 🇺🇦
Trump: "Mr. Zelenskyy has to stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia, because he's causing a shortage of diesel fuel. This isn't done by the Middle East, this is done by what's happening with Russia and Ukraine." You morally bankrupt, victim-blaming narcissist, RUSSIA INVADED UKRAINE! We have been defending ourselves against a genocidal invasion for almost 5 years in a fight where everyone gave us a week, and you find nothing better to do than blame us for a crisis of your own making?! What’s worse, Russia’s war in Ukraine would have become unsustainable by now if your poorly planned endeavor in Iran hadn't fed russia massive amounts of oil revenue. You threw our lives to the wind! Because you can't plan your own operations, and instead of fixing the situation somewhat with air defense, you blame us for the very crisis you created at our expense!

The thing is, no one can break the bond between the Canadian and American people. We are friends, and family. We prosper working together as all relationships do. No President in the White House’s petty memes, insults, can change this. 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

None of what Trump’s administration does makes any rational sense. Self inflicted yes. It is like watching a neighbours house burning down and MAGA and Trump people nearby not helping and screaming, “Look how great this is!.” It is an alternate reality
The trade war with our ally is self-inflicted. Threatening to raise tariffs to 50% in the middle of USMCA negotiations will raise prices for Americans and further damage our relationship with one of our closest allies and trading partners. Nebraska businesses have made clear that escalating tariffs and “51st state” rhetoric are not helping.

I just want to give a huge shout-out to all the Americans who are as appalled as Canadians are by Trump’s attacks on Canada. 🇨🇦🇺🇸 We know Trump doesn’t represent all of you. Thank you for standing with your neighbours, now we’re counting on you at the midterms: show up, vote, and hold his movement accountable. ❤️

The United States is waging an unprovoked economic war on Canada. Prime Minister Mark Carney said today: “We were attacked. You’re at war when you get attacked. We got attacked.” Angry Canadians will rally and intensify our boycott of American goods and of travel to the USA.
