Hi guys! โค๏ธ We're doing another fundraiser for @AduratheArtist and his dad, who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The goal is to raise โ‚ฆ20 million, and โ‚ฆ9.1 million has already been raised. We still have โ‚ฆ10.9 million to go. Please support if you can. Every contribution helps, and if you can't contribute financially, a repost or helping spread the word would mean a lot. Let's show up for Adura and his family. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿพ

Dear Mayor @Ekitipikin happy weekend sir . My name is Mirabel, a proud Ekiti girl though I also have Edo blood in my veins. A graduate of Eksu & also a small business owner who resides in Ado Ekiti . I saw the ranking and your post, though I wonโ€™t join those who are not even from here (and donโ€™t live here) to throw insults or disrespect and That is uncalled for. You are an indigene whose voice carries real weight, and I would rather see you keep calling out what needs to be fixed, regardless of political differences. That said, the lived reality many of us know in Ekiti is very different from the numbers on paper.,The economy is no longer thriving the way it once did. This is further aided by Constant abuse of power by uniformed men, open repression of youths by those in government, and an atmosphere where people are afraid to openly support candidates they believe in (for fear of being maimed or worse) have silenced a lot of voices. The Opposition parties to the ruling government in power can barely hold meaningful rallies or show public support without fear, The Youths have largely lost their voice. There have even been cases where semi-literate women were pressured through certain โ€œwomen-supporting-womenโ€ groups into releasing NIN and voterโ€™s card details; when some of us raised the alarm, we were simply removed or shut down. Greed has sunk so deep that oppression is preferred to basic civility. On infrastructure and investment: beyond the major roads inside town that have been fixed largely for aesthetics, many adjoining and linking roads remain in bad shape. The federal roads leading in and out of Ado-Ekiti are still in a deplorable state. The textile/trade fair complex has steadily deteriorated over the last five years. Nightclubs, business schools, filling stations and other small businesses that used to have life are struggling. Things are unusually expensive, and the suffering is real. Even at the terminals, the charges for waybills often cross into outright extortion. Around the school areas and surrounding villages, โ‚ฆ150k can no longer get you a decent one-room self-contain; shared-facility rooms start from โ‚ฆ200k upward. Many young people , Iโ€™d say a large majority have simply relocated their businesses and families elsewhere because they are exhausted. I say all this not to attack you, but because the truth on the ground matters more than rankings. You still have the platform and the influence. Keep using it to speak up for better governance,And when the time is right, I hope you can also extend some of that generosity and energy toward genuine small businesses still trying to survive in Ekiti. Ule labo simi oko o, I wish you continuous positivity and progress in all your endeavors. Alale Ekiti a Gbe in o ๐Ÿ™
The Ekiti they constantly mock is still ahead of the state they claim their โ€œmessianicโ€ governor has transformed.

The Diana Award was established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, to recognise young people creating sustained social change. Princess Diana was remembered not merely for her position, but for how she used it. She crossed social boundaries, moved towards people others overlooked and made those experiencing illness, exclusion or hardship feel seen. Her compassion was not distant. It was personal, courageous and practical. Long before I understood the significance of her example, I had already encountered those qualities in my mother. I watched her notice people. I watched her care, give and serve without needing recognition. Through her, I learnt that leadership is not primarily about occupying an important position. It is about recognising the humanity in others and using what you have to make their lives better. She was my first model of compassionate leadership. My story began in Ondo State. I did not come from a bad background, but I came from an environment that could easily have limited how far I imagined life could go. While managing a community pharmacy, I encountered people who arrived worried, confused or in pain. I saw how the right information and appropriate care could restore hope. That experience planted a conviction: Healthcare should be easier to understand, and young people should be equipped to solve the problems around them. That conviction became @eohealthhub. Through ViHLERT, we trained 415 medical students from over 30 medical schools in our first edition. In 2026, the programme attracted over 800 applicants from more than 24 universities. Through @MentorMatrix_N and Publish to Greatness, we are also creating pathways for mentorship, research, leadership development and opportunity. While studying medicine at @Babcock_Univ, I became the 11th President of the Babcock University Association of Medical Students (BUAMS) and founded its first Clinical and Scientific Conference. Today, work that began quietly has received global recognition. But this ward is not permission to relax. It is a responsibility to serve more people, strengthen the institutions we are building and continue developing practical solutions for better healthcare in Africa. To every young person who feels limited by where they started: Your beginning may describe you, but it does not have the authority to define everything you can become. Use what is in your hands. Leadership begins with usefulness, not titles. I am deeply grateful to parents, guardians, friends, nominators, mentors, teams and everyone who has carried this journey with me. Above everything else, I give all the glory to God. What looked like rejection became redirection. What began quietly has reached the world. There is more. #2026DianaAward

FRAUD ALERT ๐Ÿšจ A fraudulent person and criminal is impersonating Ewere case and using it to extort people. Please kindly beware of this act and do not donate to this fake accountโ€ฆ @fidelitybankplc kindly take down this account.
HELP EWERE FIGHT AGAIN โค๏ธ Ewere is a brilliant young woman who graduated with a first class degree in Applied Biology and Biotechnology and earned a scholarship to pursue her masterโ€™s in Biological Sciences in South Korea. Her future was filled with promise until an aggressive brain tumour changed everything. In February, with your help and donations, she underwent brain surgery and subsequently completed radiotherapy. Sadly, her tumour has returned, this time more aggressively. Her doctors in Seoul have recommended another surgery at Seoul St. Maryโ€™s Hospital, costing approximately โ‚ฆ30 million. Her family is seeking to raise โ‚ฆ45 million to cover the surgery, medication, follow-up care, and a caregiverโ€™s travel expenses. Behind these figures is a young woman with so much life ahead of her: a daughter, a sister, a scholar, and a dreamer who deserves the opportunity to fulfil her potential. She has fought this battle before, and today, she needs our help to fight again. We cannot do this alone. gofund.me/6549cbbb4 Every donation, no matter how small, brings Ewere closer to receiving the treatment she needs. If you cannot donate, please share her story with others and tag people who might be able to. Please help us raise โ‚ฆ45 million to give Ewere another chance at life, hope, and the future she deserves. Please donate. Please share. Please stand with Ewereโค๏ธ

Efetobore Timilehin Tega-Taire, a 21-year-old final-year anthropology student at the University of Ibadan (UI), can no longer see with either eye, and his father is struggling to raise N15.92 million for surgeries that doctors say could restore his sight. Timilehin, who was preparing for his final examinations and sign-out ceremony in November, has had problems with his eyesight for about five years. However, his condition recently worsened, leading to further medical interventions at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. Lucky Tega-Taire, his father who lives in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, told FIJ that the family had been referred to Skipper Eye-Q Super Specialty Eye Hospitals in Victoria Island, Lagos, after UCH said it lacked the necessary equipment to treat him. According to Tega-Taire, the hospital has estimated the cost of surgery at N7.96 million per eye, leaving the family with a total bill of N15.92 million for both eyes. He said the family had raised only N1.5 million and was appealing to the public for help.
Efe needs help... He's a great guy...
