Daylight Saving time ends Sunday 11/1 for most. For us in AZ, I haven't had to spring forward or fall back my entire adult life. My kids went to school in the dark and survived. Hope the rest of the country realizes the lunacy of this ritual. yahoo.com/news/us/articles/h…

The inflation report came out for September and as expected it was up to 3.7%, primarily due to higher gas prices. The Democrats are whooping and hollering like they discovered kryptonite, yet Biden never had inflation LOWER than 4% from April 2021 to May 2023. It only got under control when the Fed raised the funds rate faster than at any time in history. A 3.7% rate is near the historic rate. We have work to do, but calm down.

According to unnamed US official via Axios, Trump blindsided Zelensky with this deal with Putin, after Zelensky ignored half a dozen requests to stop hitting Russian oil refineries.
Zelensky has been sabotaging global oil markets, which is damaging Trump’s optics in the midterms, Trump told Zelensky to stop, Zelensky ignored Trump, so Trump went over the top of Zelensky and made a deal with Putin for diesel, thus deterring Zelensky from attacking the refineries and hurting global oil prices.
Zelensky is pissed Trump made a deal with Putin, and apparently Zelensky is “eroding the good will he has built up with Trump over the last six months”.
Zelensky has gone rogue, and is using his military to damage Trump’s optics heading into the midterms, as part of the Deep State’s broader plot to remove Trump.
I’m not sure what this means for Zelensky and Ukraine, but they have pissed off Trump. Not a great position to be in.

This is what happens when we have “green energy” policies but don’t build a new refinery since 1977 and lose about a refinery a year.
I support the penalty itself, I don’t care that the shooter is in a wheelchair as he made the choices that put him there, and believe accountability is essential, but I'm undecided on the live-stream. It definitely sends a strong message against terrorism, but opening the door to public broadcasts risks future abuse in more morally ambiguous scenarios.
