Makes total sense - abandon the @liberal_party plan to spend billions confiscating legally-owned #firearms from licensed owners, and strengthen border security, bail/bail enforcement, and don't plea-deal gun charges away. That would solve 80-90 percent of the problem right there

This is a pretty interesting graph. Homicide statistics from StatsCan for an 18 year period. More knife deaths than gun deaths, no call for a knife ban.

Criminals don't follow gun bans. By definition, they're involved in unlawful use of firearms.
So banning firearms for law-abiding gun owners isn't really an effective step to fight gun crime, when it’s predominantly tied to gangs and drugs.

A tragic shooting in Toronto, a 15 year-old shot dead by another 15 year-old with gang ties. The @JustinTrudeau government says the thing to do in response to events like this is take guns from licenced gun owners instead of criminals and gangs.
