As the hackathon progressed, it became clear that not all strong ideas translated into eligible submissions.
Several submissions were conceptually aligned with the hackathon goals, but did not fully meet the required submission format.
Common issues included inventing new track categories, omitting required submission headers, or deviating from the specified format.
Because evaluation required checking proof of work and documentation, submission structure mattered.

Vitalik sold $6.6M in ETH this week and the market treated it like a five-alarm fire.
Brian Armstrong sold $163M in @coinbase stock in June and nobody blinked.
Same behavior. Same intent. Catastrophically different outcomes.
@VitalikButerin is doing exactly what every F500 CEO does — selling equity to fund operations and philanthropy. He disclosed 16,384 ETH earmarked for the @ethereum Foundation and his @KANRO_ETH charity. Responsible stewardship. The market punished him anyway.
@brian_armstrong has a Rule 10b5-1 plan. Pre-arranged. SEC-filed. Private at the transaction level. He sold $99.9M in Nov. $8.5M in Dec. $6.5M in Jan. $163M in June. Hundreds of millions. Zero panic. Zero liquidations.
Buterin sells $6.6M — a rounding error — and @arkham flags it in real-time, @lookonchain broadcasts it to millions, CT amplifies "founder is dumping," $210M in longs get liquidated, and one @HyperliquidX short seller makes $102.7M off the cascade.
We call this The Equities Gap.
The roster of trapped founders:
Satoshi — $100B+ in BTC. Can't move a satoshi.
@cz_binance — $65-88B in BNB. Functionally frozen.
@VitalikButerin — Selling at the bottom because no alternative exists.
@haydenzadams — Can't fund Uniswap ops without a governance revolt.
They built a $3T asset class and can't access basic wealth management.
It gets worse. Quantum computing (2032-2035) will force every dormant wallet to migrate to post-quantum addresses. $718B in Bitcoin sits in quantum-vulnerable wallets right now. That forced migration is also a mass deanonymization event.
The DeFi tools technically exist. Vitalik already has ~$6.9M in @aave positions. But without privacy, even borrowing is dangerous — short sellers calculate your exact liquidation price and engineer cascades against known wallets.
The solution is the same model every TradFi billionaire already uses: KYC at deposit. Privacy at transaction. Tax compliance at off-ramp. That's how cash works. That's how 10b5-1 plans work. That's what we've built @SoulboundSec
