Some great photos have been released of a SAAF Rooivalk at the Dragon Peaks Park camp in the Drakensberg, for the first time in quite a few years. The camp, in which crews train in high-altitude mountain conditions, featured 3 A109s, an Oryx & BK117 in addition to the Rooivalk.

There's no indication that the aircraft has been deployed to Haiti but the Fuerza Aérea Salvadoreña is the last military operator of the UH-1M gunship which they refer to as "Cazador" (hunter). Several were obtained from the US during the Salvadoran civil war, one remains active

Sono giovane ma non così tanto da ricordare che sia i Battaglioni dei CC, che i Reparti Mobili della PdS erano dotati di M113 e FIAT 6614 adattati per il mantenimento dell'ordine pubblico, senza dover richiamare i reparti dell'Esercito, che non hanno poteri di ordine pubblico.
