"Calling All Villains" pilot episode, no spoilers: I thought the pilot was pretty solid. The animation was very well done. Character movements were fluid, expressions were great, and the environments were nicely detailed. You can tell a lot of work went into the visual presentation. The voice acting was enjoyable too. The cast has a lot of personality and does a good job of bringing the characters to life. I also liked the character designs and how distinct everyone feels. I don't usually pay much attention to sound design, at least not enough to comment on it, but it was hard not to notice all the little sound effects accompanying practically everything. 👂 It actually caught my attention, and I thought it added a lot to the overall experience. Some parts did move a bit fast though. There was a lot happening, and I think certain moments could have benefited from having a little more room to breathe. 🤔 But still, it kept things entertaining, and I wasn't bored. But yeah, just some random thoughts. And ngl, these kinda shows aren't really my thing? I'm not even sure how to describe it, lol. I guess chaotic comedy cartoons? Something like that, but either way, I did have a good time watching it, and I'm interested in seeing where they take things if we get more episodes.
