@SpudFit Interesting graphs. The vegetable one caught my eye. Potatoes! But the bump in consumption around 2016 made me giggle when you did your 365/tater challenge. You had an influence here in America. 22.8lb/yr? That’s a light week, eh?🥔🍠

“Potatoes will make you fat” Fun fact: a guy ate nothing but potatoes for a year and lost 117lbs. Some people seem so terrified of carbs you would think they were robbed at gun point by a bag of potatoes.

Massively incorrect. They have specifically tested the carbon in fat stored in adipose tissue. Gluconeogenesis at the most lenient measurement accounts for 5% of fat stores. 95-99% of fat stores are from dietary fat in the context of a calorie surplus.
The idea that people think they can 'burn off' a carb/sugar meal the next day is insane. After you eat bowl of pasta - sugars are converted to triglycerides and stored in fat cells. When you work out hard to 'burn it off' body doesn't use that fat for energy - so it stays on you

David you were a sober warrior unlike any other. Someone who wrung every last drop out of life — and always gave back more. You are deeply loved. And will be terribly missed. Run free my friend. Run free @wearesuperman 🙏🏽

Stop trying to get me to watch Tiger King. I already have to watch one bottle-blonde from reality TV. And the other reason I'm not watching Tiger King is that torturing animals is what got us into this mess. #TigerKing #AnimalCruelty = #Coronavirus
