If masks work why don’t they introduce them at the start of a COVID wave?
The hospital is introducing the masks from today manchestereveningnews.co.uk/…

Similar to Covid 🙄 it IS Covid.
NEWS: Thousands of people across Kent are reporting symptoms similar to Covid, with many saying they feel as though they've been “hit by a bus” #kmfmnews

How many people who have Covid right now & are complaining about how ill they feel are going to go straight back to work unmasked & then pick up the next thing & the cycle repeats? I’m looking at HCWs 🤷🏻♀️

I wear a mask (yes, in 2026) because I decided to opt out of being a lab rat for repeated SARS infections.
I expect people to respect my choice, just as I respect their (lol) "choice".

Who else can say they never farm engagement from angry right wing accounts by repeatedly posting the same rage bait?

Yet that happens to most people with long Covid when they seek help in healthcare. An unmasked “professional” will tell them Covid isn’t a big deal anymore, ask why they are masking against the thing that ruined their life, and call it mild

I’m just watching Question Time and the lunatic @ZiaYusufUK got a big round of applause when he said we had to scrap the lunacy of Net zero. He continues to lie that it’s net zero policies that make our energy ao expensive, when in fact it’s because we’re tied to the wholesale price of gas.
Unfortunately, the public are part of the problem. They’re too stupid to protect their own children from a terrifying future.

If you’re in a GP practice & you have swathes of staff off sick, why do you think that is?Are they not washing their hands enough?Do you not think it’s time to pop a mask on before your whole team comes down with Covid? GP partners,do you enjoy the stress & financial cost of this?

My GP surgery just posted that the are incredibly short staffed due to high levels of staff sickness, meanwhile a relative was there last week and they were asked (by a GP) why they were wearing a mask. This country is a mess 😭

The UK right now, no mask wearing anywhere, letting it all rip, no COVID vaccines unless you’re 75+ or on immunosuppressants. Everyone’s sick.
What a Public Health cock-up ⬇️

Why on earth don’t you guys wear N95s?! Do doctors like being sick? Do they think they’re invincible?! Because you only have to look at the NHS sickness figures since Covid pandemic started to see you’re not.

Honestly I have no sympathy, especially when I turn up to an appointment wearing an FFP3 mask and I’m asked why I’m wearing it. FFS. My last appointment has been rescheduled due to “sickness” 🙄

My GP surgery actually has a poster up, requesting patients to wear masks now.
But not a single member of staff were masked, so patients have no role model.
I was still the ONLY masked person in the whole building.
My appt was cancelled due to staff sickness, by the way.🙄

Given COVID is a bigger risk, why aren’t you talking about that @DrRosena?
Why is eligibility for a COVID vaccine more restrictive than flu?
Also, why aren’t wearing masks recommended when getting your jabs….bearing in mind flu and COVID are airborne?

If SARS-CoV-2 was really damaging people’s frontal lobes, you’d be noticing people being more brazenly rude, hostile, bigoted, antisocial, and tribalistic. Both online & irl.
You’d notice people would be quicker to lose their temper, and unable to keep a lid on their emotions.

Going to work to knowingly infect vulnerable patients & colleagues is against the Duties of a Doctor as outlined by the GMC, yet harming your patients & colleagues has been normalised, I personally think it’s reckless & immoral.
NHS doctor: There’s COVID and flu armageddon in our hospital... It’s everywhere, to the point where they’re definitely not swabbing on purpose... They’re like, ‘We don’t even want to know if you have COVID or flu, because it just makes things complicated.’
