This still blows my mind. £12.60 I have spent since owning my MG4.
We have charged at home 3 x (we've used a fair amount of miles because we've moved and needed lots of trips to Ikea 🤣)
Our Diesel cost £80+ to fill up each time 😱

At the Transport Select Committee on Transport in Parliament giving my views on synthetic - or E-fuels - as an alternative to EVs. As a parallel technology that could cut tailpipe emissions by around 50% without consumers having to buy EVs, E-fuels certainly have a role. But the challenge is making them at scale so they could be affordable to mainstream consumers to have enough of a significant air quality or environmental benefit. We don’t want synthetic fuels to become just an elite petrol for affluent performance and supercar owners.
