Legendary folk singer @SteveForbert came by the shop with his 1949 @gibsonguitar model SJ acoustic guitar for a tune up & a rebuild on his vintage @TakamineGuitars pickup. Steve played this little ditty for me, thanks Steve! #steveforbert #ArtistOnTwitter

Perspective| I check in with the singer whose lyric graces the sig file at the bottom of my emails. @SteveForbert is just as delightful in conversation as he is in song. What did we talk about? Nothing less than life itself. After all, what else is there? washingtonpost.com/local/sig…

In a year that has been let’s just say rhymes with Fit.. The third known photo of Robert Johnson surfacing and being kept all these years by his 94 year old stepsister is the best news/story I have heard in awhile. 😎👍

My healing balm this week has been @SteveForbert's new album of covers, "Early Morning Rain". The song choices, the interpretations, Steve's voice - all are soothing my soul and I am grateful. It'll be on repeat all weekend. youtube.com/watch?v=FfxXRo_R…

"For his 2020 release, Early Morning Rain, songwriting virtuoso in his own right Steve Forbert, cannily selects 11 well-crafted folk and rock songs that have inspired him over the years." Thanks @FolkAlley for the album review! folkalley.com/album-review/2…

I just heard the news about Little Richard and I’m so grieved. He was my shining star and guiding light back when I was only a little boy. His was the original spirit that moved me to do everything I would do.

At this fucked up time,I adore that guitarists, pianists etc.are posting their prowess, no matter how “good” or not so “good” They are DOING it. Bravo to anyone who wants to express themselves from Neil Young to your auntie.. Bring it...💜🎥🎸🕺💃
