Initial conversations have taken place but is at an early stage, they also were in contact with Aston Martin.
His future with Haas is uncertain and could be an option for Cadillac if they decide to change from Bottas in the near future.

Remember that Michael Andretti was rejected by FOM due to concerns regarding competitiveness and financial values.
Now their drivers are P23 and P24 in a 22-driver World Championship, and their debut season isn't even over yet and they're looking to sell. I was hyped for Cadillac coming to Formula One, but it's been a major disappointment so far.
I actually thought they weren't looking too bad at the start of the season, being a completely new team and everything, but all the trouble Aston Martin is going through just made them look better than they actually are, I think. The upgrades have done nothing to improve the Cadillac cars.
