@facebook @instagram @Meta can someone get in contact with me regarding my husbands permanently disabled accounts? They were suspended under false reasoning and the review was denied within 15 minutes of the appeal. There doesn’t appear to be any semblance of customer service 🙃
My Facebook account was suspended today, and since it’s linked to Meta, my Instagram account was affected as well. An AI decides whether your account complies with the policies and terms of use—and can I appeal the decision? Well, no—and there’s no human involved 😥

I am requesting assistance recovering my personal Facebook account, which I have maintained for approximately 15 years, and my personal Instagram account (@bklein06).
Both accounts were disabled or suspended because they were linked to an Instagram account (@pklein_11) that I created for my underage son using my own login information.
I submitted his birth certificate when Instagram requested age verification, and I understand why his account was permanently disabled.
I am not requesting restoration of my son’s account. I am requesting an independent review of my adult accounts, which contain years of personal photographs, family memories, and connections.
Facebook currently directs me to appeal through my son’s Instagram account, but that account has already been permanently disabled, leaving me without an accessible appeal process.
Please escalate this matter for manual review and help me restore my personal accounts. I am willing to verify my identity and remove the connection to my son’s account.
"...This has been an extremely distressing and depressing experience. It is made worse by the fact that Meta has wrongfully accused us of such heinous and unspeakable things, like they have done to so many others. This should be defamation in the United States...
Right now, we are doing our best to update, inform, and stay in touch with everyone we can via our e-mail newsletter and X. Everyone has been so kind.
We’ve spent thousands of dollars advertising through Meta—mostly Facebook. Now that’s all locked up and going nowhere. We’ve lost all our new leads, all our thousands of followers, and the posted graphics promoting 1200+ clients.
I’ve lost all my powerlifting videos including championship wins and irreplaceable pictures scanned from decades ago of grandparents, parents, and now-deceased uncles and aunts. I’ve lost all the announcements and posts relating to my book I spent 22 years writing. I’ve lost wedding pictures, vacation photos, and chronicling the day my first and only child was born.
@Meta needs to be held accountable and do the right thing..."
Friends,
I woke up today to find all of my @facebook and @instagram accounts suspended (and now "permanently disabled"):
- My personal account with all my wedding pictures, the day my baby was born, and all the other memories going back over a decade
- My primary business one, which took me 5 years to build and had a 100% recommended rating with 52 reviews
- My book's business page, which had all of the wonderful things related to my life's work
Instagram claims that its technologies (likely AI) flagged main IG account for allegedly doing something reprehensible. I absolutely deny these allegations. I did nothing wrong. And because the Instagram account was taken down, apparently all my Facebook accounts have to be taken down too?
A few days ago, my business e-mail was hacked and used to send bizarre Google Spreadsheet invites as part of an apparent phishing attack. When I tried to recover my personal Instagram account, the profile picture of an unknown woman appears. I believe these issues are linked.
I am distraught. Whatever these hackers did hurts the reputation I spent my life building. It hurts my outreach and the ability for my business to grow. It hurts my ability to connect with new people and old friends. It hurts.
I don’t think many of you understand how much this hurts—how much damage is done—until this happens to you

My @facebook @instagram @Meta accounts are still wrongfully disabled by Meta’s broken automated system. This is hurting my connections and businesses. @finkd, this needs to be fixed. This is wrong.

Just got a phishing email that Gmail authenticated as Google. DKIM/DMARC passed. I can see a lot of people falling for this one, since it plays to the idea that your account has already been compromised.
Scammer puts the scam in an app-password name, triggers a real Google alert, then forwards the alert email to your email address.
How this attack works, and why it’s convincing:
1. The trick: The attacker puts the threatening text and shortened URL into an app password’s customizable name on another account. Google incorporates that text into a real security notification and signs the email.
2. The delivery: That notification is forwarded through another mailbox to the victim. In this message, Gmail still recorded passing Google DKIM and DMARC authentication.
3. What makes it convincing: The Google sender, signature, branding, and “Check activity” button are legitimate. The suspected attacker-supplied text appears inside the same trusted-looking template, using a deadline to push you toward its separate link.
4. The giveaway: Both the notification and its genuine Google button refer to someone else’s account. The “permanent access after 24 hours” claim is false; app passwords can be revoked.
Be careful out there folks!
Things Trump probably could've done to win the Republicans the midterms:
- Hit Iran's leadership, then leave instead of lingering around struggling over the Strait of Hormuz and hurting the world's oil supply for months
Secondly:
- Not impede the sanctions on Russia
Pretty much it.

Dear Authors, Creators, and Friends,
We are writing to inform you of an unexpected and deeply troubling situation affecting Outstanding Creator Awards' social media accounts.
On November 2, 2026, our @facebook and @instagram accounts, including our associated personal and business profiles, were abruptly suspended and subsequently disabled by Meta.
We strongly dispute the enforcement action and believe our accounts may have been wrongfully flagged by their automated (AI) system. We did nothing wrong.
Unfortunately, we have lost access to our established Facebook and Instagram pages, including years of content, community engagement, client recommendations, and promotional activity.
This has been an extremely distressing experience, particularly given the time, effort, and resources we have invested in building these platforms and supporting the authors and creators who trust us.
Unfortunately, we are far from alone in this experience.
Over the past year, numerous news outlets have reported on widespread complaints about Facebook and Instagram accounts being abruptly suspended or disabled, with affected users alleging that @Meta's automated (AI) enforcement systems have made serious mistakes and extreme allegations. Thousands of users across the United States and around the world have reportedly experienced similar problems, including unexpected account suspensions, unsuccessful appeals (often within minutes), and difficulty obtaining meaningful assistance from Meta.
These troubling incidents have received extensive media attention, including the following news reports:
youtube.com/watch?v=JRmE11YX…
youtube.com/watch?v=gLaG7aM9…
youtube.com/watch?v=VT1wxDVV…
In fact, more than 66,000 people have signed a petition demanding accountability, transparency, and fair treatment from Meta, and that number continues to grow. The petition, organized by People Over Platforms Worldwide (@p_o_p_worldwide), calls attention to wrongful account suspensions, inadequate appeals processes, and the devastating consequences these decisions can have on individuals and businesses.
You can learn more about the petition here:

What Meta/Facebook/Instagram is doing to users whose accounts have been wrongfully disabled is simply wrong. @finkd, this is a travesty.
Meta is more than willing to leave up accounts for harassment, threats, disturbing content, and impersonating other users, yet they are hasty to erase the accounts of genuine, well-meaning users. People should not have to lose years of memories, relationships, business connections, and hard work without a clear explanation or meaningful opportunity to appeal.
Please rest assured that Outstanding Creator Awards remains fully operational. Our contests, editorial reviews, author recognition programs, and other services are continuing. The results for our 2026 Clash of Champions contest are still expected by December 20th, and the results for Best of the Year are still expected by January 15th. And, yes, there WILL be a 2027 Spring Contest, a 2027 Summer Contest, etc.
We won't be stopped. You're talking about an organization run by a 9x powerlifting champion and a mother who survived two separate dictatorships and endured a 12 hour birth without an epidural or medication. We don't expect everything to be easy. A lot of the best things in life involve challenges and setbacks. A lot of the greatest accomplishments are gained through struggle and strife.
We understand that the instinct is sometimes to avoid drama or distance oneself when a ship appears distressed or sinking. Well, Outstanding Creator Awards isn't going anywhere. What doesn't end us will only make us stronger.
In fact, on November 21, 2026, we will celebrate our five-year anniversary of being in business, having served more than 1,200 clients from countries around the world!
That's half a decade of OCA. Half a decade of being there alongside authors, artists, and other creators as they achieve their goals and chase their dreams. Half a decade of propping people up, elevating their works, and highlighting their talents. Half a decade of speaking our truth when, quite frankly, other organizations are abusing AI, blowing smoke, and/or are full of crap. Half a decade of diligent, dedicated work--day after day after day.
We've worked extraordinarily hard to build this organization, establish meaningful relationships, and earn the trust of the people we serve. We're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together, and we're not going to allow this unfortunate situation to undermine everything we've built.
For the time being, we kindly ask that you communicate with us through our regular business email or official website rather than Facebook or Instagram. If you've recently contacted us through either platform and haven't received a response, please reach out again by email.
You can also continue to find us on X (formerly known as Twitter):

We are working diligently to resolve this situation and sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support.
Thank you for being part of the Outstanding Creator Awards community. Your trust and encouragement mean more to us than you know, and we look forward to celebrating many more years of recognizing outstanding creators together.
Let's keep creating,
Steven Seril & Diana Mavlanova
