.@kaynessemicon is in advanced discussions with global technology companies to expand into semiconductor wafer fabrication, compound semiconductors, advanced packaging, & materials & equipment manufacturing, CEO Raghu Panicker told @EconomicTimes. The company plans to pursue these areas through joint ventures & technology partnerships rather than developing the technologies independently. It is looking to submit project applications under ISM 2.0 @SemiconIndia by mid-August, subject to the government @GoI_MeitY opening the application window. “We are in advanced discussions in all of these,” Panicker said. “There will be a JV” for the proposed materials & equipment projects, he added. Kaynes is talking to a Japanese company about manufacturing semiconductor equipment & spares in India. It is also in discussions with a potential partner in the semiconductor materials segment. These projects could benefit from the proposed 30% capital subsidy for domestic semiconductor materials & equipment manufacturing under ISM 2.0, which the Union cabinet approved on July 15 with an outlay of Rs 1.27 lakh crore. The company is separately exploring a silicon semiconductor wafer fabrication facility, compound semiconductor manufacturing & an additional outsourced semiconductor assembly & test (OSAT) unit focused on advanced packaging. According to Panicker, one prospective technology partner could support Kaynes across silicon wafer fabrication, compound semiconductors & assembly, testing, marking & packaging (ATMP)-OSAT operations. The company is also holding separate discussions with a large player in the LED sector for micro-LED & lighting applications. Kaynes is evaluating Sanand & Dholera in Gujarat for some of the proposed projects, although the investments could be spread across multiple locations, Panicker said. The expansion would take Kaynes beyond its existing semiconductor packaging operations & give it a presence across the chip manufacturing value chain. The company is already working in micro-electromechanical systems, or MEMS, & plans to increase its capabilities in areas including gallium nitride, silicon carbide, silicon photonics, advanced CMOS process technology & chiplet-based design. The planned investments will require substantial capital. Panicker said Kaynes could raise funds through a limited dilution of the promoter’s holding, which currently stands at around 56-57%, along with government support available for eligible semiconductor projects. “Diluting a little bit of that can raise a large sum of money because of our valuation,” he said. Kaynes also intends to seek support for semiconductor research & development & talent creation. It has begun recruiting doctorate-level employees & is building teams to work on advanced process technologies, silicon photonics & chiplet-based products. The proposals, however, remain subject to the finalisation of technology partnerships & the opening of the government’s application process. Panicker said discussions with prospective partners were at an advanced stage but declined to identify them, describing the companies as large, multibillion-dollar businesses. Kaynes Semicon is currently operating an OSAT facility in Sanand. Out of the project’s cumulative investment of Rs 3,307 crore, 50%, or Rs 1,653.5 crore, will come from the Centre & 20% (Rs 661.4 crore) from the Gujarat government. The rest 30%, or Rs 992.1 crore, is being invested by the company. m.economictimes.com/tech/tec… @ETtech

Power Ministry Draws AI-Era Grid Roadmap India is now planning its electricity grid around AI and data centres, not just traditional industrial demand. The Power Ministry is preparing a dedicated roadmap to ensure reliable electricity supply for data centres, recognizing them as a strategic infrastructure sector. The roadmap will involve coordination between power utilities, transmission companies, DISCOMs and state governments. India's installed data centre capacity is expected to increase from 1.6 GW today to nearly 26 GW by 2031-32, implying a 16x increase in power demand. AI workloads and GPU clusters will significantly increase electricity consumption compared to traditional data centres. The roadmap is expected to drive investments in high-voltage transmission lines, new substations, distribution network upgrades, grid stability and redundancy and dedicated power corridors for data center. This creates a multi-year capex opportunity for India's power infrastructure ecosystem. The government is evaluating: => Green power procurement. => Open access. => Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). => Round-the-clock renewable power. => Grid flexibility solutions. This aligns with hyperscalers' increasing preference for renewable-powered data centres. States with major data centre clusters such as Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Telangana will require dedicated substations, transmission networks, reliable water & cooling infrastructure and strong fibre connectivity. Beneficiaries Power & Utilities => Power Grid Corporation => Adani Energy Solutions => Tata Power => NTPC Transmission & Electrical Equipment => Hitachi Energy India => GE Vernova T&D India => Transformers & Rectifiers India (TARIL) => CG Power => Siemens India => ABB India Data Centre Developers => Anant Raj => Adani Enterprises (AdaniConneX) Cables & Connectivity => Polycab India => KEI Industries => RR Kabel => Sterlite Technologies Energy Storage => Exide Industries => Amara Raja Energy & Mobility => JSW Energy India's AI ambitions are creating a new power infrastructure supercycle. As data centre capacity expands 16-fold by 2031-32, the biggest beneficiaries are likely to be companies enabling the grid-transmission, transformers, substations, cables, energy storage and power utilities-rather than just the data centre operators themselves. 🟥Disclaimer: This post is for informational and educational purposes only. @vishan_29 @Dynamicinvstr @Saurabh_TyagiX

Persistent Systems acquires Nagarro, which has about $1.2 B revenue for about $1.35 B valuation (based on Eur 81/ Share) Few points: It will be among the top 10 engineering services acquisitions ever. The combined entity will have $2.9 Billion revenue with 46K employees. Persistent gets scaled presence in Europe ($600 M) and scaled entry into new verticals, including Industrial ($400 M)and Consumer ($300M). Persistent was already working with German industrial firms, including Siemens, and this acquisition deepens its relationship with German manufacturers. In the last few years, Persistent and Coforge outperformed the industry. Now, the next phase of growth of both Coforge and Persistent is with acquisitions. Coforge with Encora and Cigniti acquisition running at $2.5 B runrate, and now Persistent with Nagarro at $2.9 B runrate. Game on for a $5 billion target! Another example of a high-value (Billion-dollar-plus) digital engineering exit to a Service Provider, not a PE player. Warbug did due diligence on Nagarro last year, and it didn't work out. In the earlier growth phase, PE firms were acquiring digital engineering firms with billion-dollar-plus valuations, but going forward, billion-dollar exits of digital engineering firms to PE firms are unlikely and most likely will be sold to Service Providers.

🚨 MID-DAY MACRO: Projectile Strike in Hormuz, Bitcoin Decimates Historical Support in $58K Flash Crash 🚨 FLASH CRASH: Bitcoin breaks below the Power Law support model for the first time in history! Flushing $BTC to $58K. Meanwhile, a cargo ship has just been hit by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz. 💥 Kinetic Strike: The UKMTO confirms the Singapore-flagged container ship 'Ever Lovely' was just struck by an unknown projectile off Oman. The strike occurred directly on the UN-approved coastal corridor, just hours after the IRGC warned that unauthorized routes "will be dealt with." 📉 Power Law Broken: $BTC disintegrated from $61.8k to an intraday low of $58,023. For the first time ever, Bitcoin has broken completely below the long-term logarithmic Power Law support shelf. Buyers have completely vanished from the tape. 🚨 The $12.9B Expiry Trap: The flush is running right into tomorrow's massive $10B USD ($12.9B SGD) options expiry on Deribit. Bullish call options are deeply offside, triggering aggressive structural selling and hedging across derivative desks. 💼 Institutional Exodus: MicroStrategy ($MSTR) has tanked 10% to hit a fresh 2-year low. Capital is aggressively exiting the crypto complex to chase AI and mega-cap tech volatility, leaving exchange order books completely thin. 🔒 Sanctions Firestorm: TRM Labs & the WSJ drop a bombshell report alleging CoinEx processed $3.84B in illicit Iranian crypto flows, weaponizing regulators just as the floor breaks. The war premium is trying to claw back into oil, while a toxic mix of leverage, options exposure, and tech capital flight has decimated the crypto floor. Protect your capital. $BTC $MSTR $WTI
🚨 NEW RELEASE: US and Iran officially SIGN historic 14-point peace deal. 🚨 After months of a fragile ceasefire President TRUMP and IRAN have formally ratified a PERMANENT TRUCE. Here is what YOU NEED TO KNOW about the monumental shift happening right now: • The Truce: Immediate, permanent ceasefire on all fronts—including Lebanon. • The Shipping Lane: The vital Strait of Hormuz has reopened toll-free. Over 10 commercial ships are already moving. • The Blockade: The US naval blockade on Iranian ports will completely dismantle within 30 days. • The Economy: Iran can immediately resume fuel and oil sales. A $300B reconstruction fund is established. • The Nukes: Iran pledges no nuclear weapons. Both nations will cooperate to dilute existing enriched stockpiles. What happens next? A high-stakes 60-day negotiating window is officially underway in Bürgenstock, Switzerland to hammer out the permanent details. Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are leading the US delegation, with Pakistan and Qatar mediating. The Catch: The deal remains incredibly fragile. Any major escalation between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon could collapse the entire agreement instantly. Big DAY for GLOBAL GEOPOLITICS & BITCOIN $BTC 👇

Today’s Recap — June 26, 2026 Bitcoin found a bottom at $58,189 today — lowest since September 2024 — right as the quarter’s biggest options expiry and the largest single-day ETF outflow since May landed together. BTC $59,771 | ETH $1,577 | SOL $73.25 | XRP $1.05 Spot Bitcoin ETFs shed $692M yesterday, the largest single-day redemption since May 27. Annual ETF BTC-holdings growth has stalled to basically zero — the funds aren’t absorbing supply anymore, they’re adding to it. That’s a structural shift, not a one-day blip. Roughly $10.6B in BTC and ETH options expired today with both trading below max pain ($74K) — Deribit itself says recent quarterly expiries haven’t shown reliable pinning, so don’t read much into the settlement level. The real tell was the bounce: BTC touched $58,189 intraday and clawed back to the high $59Ks by the close. Strategy tried to get ahead of the panic, with an executive calling its BTC reserves “indestructible” and the holdings safe from forced sales — even trading below cost basis. STRC still closed 26% below par at a record low Thursday, and Strive’s SATA hit its own record low near $84. The reassurance is fighting a real trend, not a rumor. ETFs flipped from buyer to bystander this month — that’s the structural shift worth tracking into next week, not the options noise. 🫡 Does Strategy’s “indestructible” claim hold up, or is this just talk ahead of more pain? 👇 NFA. Esconet Technologies Ltd.📞 FY26 Concall Summary #ESCONET 🟡 MANAGEMENT PROJECTION : Management expects FY27 to be a year of margin expansion and profitable growth, driven by higher contribution from Hexadata, ZCloud, and FluidIT. The company aims to secure MeitY empanelment for ZCloud, unlocking government and regulated sector opportunities, while expanding its indigenous AI computing portfolio through Hexadata. Management also indicated that the current operating structure can comfortably support a significantly larger business, with revenue expected to grow faster than operating expenses. 🔴 Red Alert : FY26 profitability was impacted by chip shortages, sharp memory and component price inflation, higher manpower costs, and strategic investments across cloud, cybersecurity, and AI infrastructure. Management admitted that hardware quotes submitted before the chip price surge had to be honored, compressing margins during H1. While quoting practices have now changed, profitability remains exposed to hardware pricing volatility and continued investment in scaling new businesses. 🟢 Green Alert : Esconet delivered 53.4% YoY revenue growth, with consolidated income reaching ₹357 crore. Despite margin pressure, EBITDA stood at ₹12.25 crore while PAT was ₹6.16 crore. The second half showed a sharp turnaround, with H2 EBITDA rising 183% and H2 PAT increasing 262% over H1. Working capital also improved through an ₹8.5 crore reduction in receivables, while infrastructure investments strengthened long term delivery capabilities. The company also achieved NVIDIA Elite Partner status, Red Hat certification, and NCIIPC accreditation for its cybersecurity business. 🔵 Blue Alert : The biggest strategic shift is Esconet's transformation from a traditional system integrator into an integrated Sovereign Stack technology platform. The business now combines Hexadata for AI servers and high performance computing, ZCloud for sovereign cloud infrastructure, FluidIT for cybersecurity, and Esconet's system integration business into one unified ecosystem. Management believes AI adoption, data localization, sovereign cloud requirements, and cybersecurity demand will create long term structural growth. Hexadata is already growing faster than the group's other businesses, with management expecting it to become the primary growth engine over the coming years. 🧠 Deep Insight : The most important numbers are ₹357 crore revenue, 53.4% growth, ₹12.25 crore EBITDA, ₹6.16 crore PAT, 183% H2 EBITDA growth, 262% H2 PAT growth, and ₹8.5 crore reduction in receivables. The key investment thesis is that Esconet is positioning itself to benefit from India's AI infrastructure buildout rather than remaining a low margin hardware integrator. The combination of NVIDIA Elite Partner status, sovereign cloud ambitions, cybersecurity capabilities, and indigenous AI infrastructure creates multiple growth engines. The biggest monitorables are MeitY empanelment, commercialization of ZCloud, scaling of Hexadata, margin expansion after FY26 investments, growth of the Singapore business, and whether higher value software and cloud services meaningfully improve profitability over the next few years. Management also announced that the company will begin quarterly financial reporting from FY27, improving transparency for investors.

AI Is Rewriting America's Capital Spending Priorities The U.S. investment boom isn't broad-based—it's becoming increasingly concentrated around AI infrastructure. Investment in information processing equipment and machinery has accelerated far faster than industrial equipment, transportation, or other machinery categories, reaching new highs while the others have largely moved sideways since 2021. Transportation investment remains volatile after its pandemic collapse, while industrial and other machinery have shown only modest gains. The message is clear: corporations aren't simply buying more equipment—they're buying smarter equipment. Servers, networking hardware, semiconductors, automation systems, and AI infrastructure are increasingly absorbing corporate capex budgets. This shift matters because productivity-enhancing investment historically delivers stronger long-term earnings growth than traditional replacement spending. America's next investment cycle is increasingly digital rather than mechanical.

OpenAI just agreed to let the US government approve GPT 5.6 access customer by customer before general release. This is unprecedented. Sam Altman told staff this week that GPT 5.6 will launch as a limited preview to a small group of partners. The Office of the National Cyber Director and the Office of Science and Technology Policy requested the staggered approach. Commerce Secretary Lutnick personally called Altman to demand multi-agency approvals. Why this matters: - Anthropic already did this with Mythos — then the government ordered them to pull it globally because they couldn't filter foreign nationals in real time. Claude Mythos 5 is now restricted to vetted defense organizations under "Project Glasswing." - Claude Fable 5 was restored on June 18 only after Anthropic deployed nationality-based identity verification, nationality screening on API endpoints, and safety classifiers that redirect chemistry/biology/cybersecurity queries to a weaker model (Opus 4.8). - The White House just signed an executive order creating a voluntary framework for vetting powerful AI models. This is a 180 from the previous deregulatory stance. The subtext: frontier models are now considered weapons-grade technology by the US government. We're watching the birth of AI export controls — not for countries, but for individual humans connecting via API. Trump's commerce secretary intervened against even a limited release. That's JD Vance's "excessive regulation kills innovation" doctrine quietly dying. GPT 5.6 will go wide "a couple weeks later" — we'll see if that holds.

Chamath Palihapitiya was given free shares in OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX on The Axios Show and told he could only keep one stack. He picked SpaceX. His breakdown of the other two was precise and unsentimental. Anthropic will over-earn in the short term he said. The enterprise product is genuinely superior and the adoption is real. His own firm uses it as their foundational model. He said it is EXCEPTIONAL. ChatGPT has consumer locked up permanently. It is a brand that every man, woman, and child already understands. That has real and durable value. But then he said the thing most investors are not saying out loud. Both of those are single lines of business. One is enterprise. The other one is consumer. Both flow with global GDP. When the economy contracts, so does everything built on top of it. SpaceX completed its IPO this month at a $2.3 trillion valuation, the largest in US history. Starlink alone did $11.4 billion in revenue last year at a 63% EBITDA margin. The satellite internet business is now more profitable than Boeing and Lockheed Martin combined. That is before a single dollar from orbital data centers or the xAI merger flows through the income statement. Chamath called it enormous embedded optionality. He is invested in all three. He chose one. Watch the full show here on The Axios Show: youtube.com/watch?v=qLY04q3L…

OpenAI IPO delay to 2027 just triggered a chip bloodbath — or so the headlines scream. Nvidia, Micron & AMD leading the rout. AI hype on ice: memory, semis & infra names bleeding as the narrative catches its breath. Smart money calls this the gift it is — scooping quality names hit hardest today like $TSEM $FORM $LITE $AEHR. Temporary sentiment reset. Structural AI demand? Unchanged and insatiable. The capacity crunch doesn’t care about one delayed listing.
