Ideology—that is what gives the evildoing its long-sought justification and gives the evildoer the necessary steadfastness and determination. - Solzhenitsyn

Great post except calling it SI is off putting. I would even prefer probabalistic inference calculator as there is nothing intelligent about it but at least AI

Trist.

We need true moderates and less meglomaniacs who can't keep their word while screwing over their constituencies. That used to be the Clintons and now is Trump. Still, better than Kamala. Here's to hoping to have someone to vote for instead of against in two years

It is true. The ignorant or young in education reach for more govt ie Marxism. The more sophisticated and depth of thought persists, the more you move away from that. Or you reach for Marxism like a hot stove thinking it will be better to have more govt/less freedoms until burned

Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases.

Given that the solar system (and then some) is effectively in the sun's atmosphere, where does the sun actually start? Heliopause is the outer edge so I guess we mean the sun's surface?

Actually socialism means you will get even less of your money back. The ignorant think that reaching for even more socialism improves what we have. Instead we will have more of the worst of what is happening. By all means though choose to remain in ignorance

The difference is that anyone can vibe code an app. Few can utilize AI to design and build an enterprise layer of application and business context so that AI across departments works in a cohesive, comprehensive way. Vibe coding in a business context just creates silos

Talked to GenZ professionals. College graduates, professional GenZ friends. Based in Texas. Said a bunch of their friends have no idea who either Talarico or Paxton are. Don’t know the names The social media algorithms influence how we think more than anything else. Everyone has their own unique feed on the platforms they use. Like fingerprints , no two fees are alike on the major platforms. Agree or disagree.
