Man, just doing fundamental inferencing from what Couvillon said & other Deep South races, one HAS to conclude that Louisiana Senate is Likely R.
Like, I know how silly that sounds. But the math of 12% GOP defection + ASTRONOMICAL black turnout legit adds up to a <4% race.
Yeah, this is why I'm very suspicious of algorithmically generated maps being used for anything in redistricting; they're just as liable to haphazardly cut through communities as gerrymanders are, just without an explicitly partisan purpose.

Josh Turek's position on trans healthcare is to the right of nine red states. Medicaid covering gender affirming care has been *the* reason for trans people to vote blue. If I wanted to define "Dems abandoning trans people," it'd be "if/when Turek's position is normalized."
