They need to return everything they stole. Crazy thing is most Africans are so brainwashed they believe these artifacts are “demonic”.
The British are thieves. 🇳🇬 In 1897, they burned Benin City to the ground and stole our royal heritage. Today, they keep the Queen Mother’s ivory mask and the Benin Bronzes locked behind glass in the British Museum. They call it ‘history.’ We call it a crime scene. @britishmuseum, the colonial ledger is unpaid. Return what you stole.

History profile #Onesimus
The introduction of African induced immunity to the Americas In 1721, during a devastating smallpox outbreak in Boston, an enslaved African man named Onesimus introduced a revolutionary medical procedure to the colonies, variolation. The process was precise. Practitioners would take live matter from a smallpox sore and rub it into a small, intentional cut on the skin of a healthy person. This controlled exposure triggered a mild infection, training the immune system to recognize and defeat the virus, granting the individual lifelong immunity. This was the first successful application of induced immunity in the Americas. By proving that a disease could be countered by a controlled version of itself, Onesimus provided a conceptual blueprint for the field of vaccinology.

A story from Burkina Faso showing how they don't just grow cotton but building the factories to process it too! In Bobo-Dioulasso, the new TEXFORCES-BF textile complex is set to turn locally produced cotton into fabric, T-shirts, uniforms, socks and more. With a 17 billion CFA franc investment, the facility is designed to produce up to 20 million metres of fabric and 5–6 million knitted items a year, while creating thousands of jobs. The message is simple: Africa can grow its raw materials and build the industries to transform them. Burkina Faso is #NotWaiting for finished clothes to arrive. It is making them. Burkina Faso is #NotWaiting @notwaitin

Valuable commodity, #WorldCottonDay
Africa grows around 2.6 million tonnes of cotton each year. Yet the continent captures only a fraction of the cotton value chain. Can cotton power Africa's next industrial transformation? Between the Africa that exists and the Africa the world imagines, there is a gap. Our ED, Moky Makura @mokymakura calls it the visibility gap. In her new opinion piece in The Guardian, she shows what lies on the other side of it: entrepreneurs, innovators and policymakers already building, solving and producing across the continent. The progress is real. The question is whether the world is looking. 👉 Read the full article in The Guardian @guardian : theguardian.com/global-devel… #AfricaNoFilter @_notwaiting_ @corr

This, yes.
Before you are a Muslim, Christian, Hindu or atheist, you are a human being. We may disagree on religion, but we should never disagree on the value of human life. Humanity before religion. Always.

Amilcar Cabral ✊🏾🇬🇼
There is a reason the first thing serious liberation movements do is address education. Amílcar Cabral said it. Frantz Fanon said it. Amílcar Cabral said the colonized must "return to the source," must recover historical identity not as nostalgia but as the specific foundation on which genuine independence becomes possible. They were not being romantic. They were being precise. They understood that a people who do not know their own history cannot draw on it. Cannot point to it and say: We built things before you arrived. We will build things after you leave. Cannot look at the condition the colonizer created and say with full confidence: This was done to us. It is not what we are. A people without that knowledge accepts the condition. Does not demand the transformation. Waits for permission from the people who designed the situation to fix it. And the people who designed the situation are not going to fix it.

Footage of the Aboso Glass Factory in Ghana’s Western Region, 1969. Commissioned by Kwame Nkrumah in Feb 1966, just 19 days before his overthrow, the factory manufactured bottles and glassware. After years of decline and failed revival plans, much of the factory was demolished.

One of the saddest stories I've seen on the Internet today
Her name is Roslyne Ashanti, she was an established Airbnb business Lady in Nairobi! She was poisoned by her friends at her birthday party, she had invited friends to celebrate with her, little did she know that there was a Snake within them! She collapsed during the birthday party, never to talk, see or eat again, doctors treating her said it was food poison that damaged half of her Brain. She is now under the care of her mother, moving from one hospital to another. Most women don't have genuine friends, they're surrounded by snakes full of jealousy. Avoid nonesence circles and the so called friends at all cost.
