Today, we laid a legend to rest.
Sparrow had you from the moment he stepped on stage. That smile, that effortless charm, that confident delight in his own mischief. He could have us helpless with laughter, then leave us thinking.
More than six decades into our independence journey, we owe it to our children to let them hear him and understand why he mattered.
Thank you, Birdie. We were blessed to have you.

On National Tree Planting Day, let’s each do our part to create a greener, healthier and more sustainable Jamaica. Trees protect our water sources, support biodiversity, improve our environment and help us build a stronger future for generations to come.
One tree. One action. A lasting impact. @ForestryDeptJa

I found this cover interesting. I know it’s Time Magazine but it’s also a reminder that time is not promised to us and we should do all we can do to be good to each other with the time that we are given.
And I believe Dolly did just that. Her kindness like her music walked into rooms that she was never in, soothing and calming and just making life better. Thank you for being not only an incredible artist but also an authentic soul who cared about humanity in such a special way. I’ve always admired you and you will be missed especially as this world grows colder.

Since the weather has become political I’m working on my rain dance…. 🌧️
The People’s National Party (PNP) is accusing the Holness administration of failing to adequately prepare Jamaica for the ongoing drought, arguing that years of underinvestment and neglect in the water sector have worsened the current crisis.

Please take note of the @MetserviceJA forecast for rainfall until October. This would normally be our primary rainfall period. The disruptions are largely due to the intensity of the El Niño phenomenon.
At this stage Conservation is a must!

Next year will mark my 15th year as an entrepreneur. Started working on EduFocal at 19 years old, launched it at 21 years old at the Jamaica Pegasus.
At 35, I’ve done impossible things. Things that literally hundreds of thousands of people have benefited from. I am blessed beyond measure.
Thank you to strangers, friends, family, clients/customers who have supported me over the last 15 years. I’m excited about this next phase and looking forward to impacting even more people.

I think I’ve reached the point where I’d rather stay in a hotel than an Airbnb.
I don’t want to buy groceries. I don’t want to take out the trash. I don’t want to strip the bed before checkout.
I want a cozy hotel room, breakfast waiting downstairs, housekeeping doing their thing, and zero responsibilities while I’m on vacation.
When I’m traveling, I want to be a guest, not a temporary homeowner.

On Sir Garry’s 90th birthday, the stars simply aligned. Words cannot express how truly magical this moment feels.
