He’s kinda similar to Zac Aston-Reese where the defense itself isn’t special, it’s just keeping the puck in the offensive zone which is nice but he isn’t productive there so it’s basically 18 minutes a night spent board battling hoping for a lucky chance from a scrum

Good trade mostly for NSH. Wright already has an NHL foundation plus upside (skills in all areas plus a checking game). Wood has more to develop (skating/pace of decisions and defence), but more goal-scoring upside. In the right situation, they could both break out.
