YOU HELPED WITH GROCERIES. In 2021 your party passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan without a single Republican vote. Inflation hit 9.1 percent the next summer, the highest in forty years. I have four kids. I stood in the cereal aisle putting boxes back on the shelf so my youngest wouldn't see me do it. Thanks for the help. YOU HELPED WITH THE BORDER. Over ten million encounters nationwide from 2021 through 2024 while your side went on TV and swore the border was "secure." FAIR puts the net cost of illegal immigration at about $150.7 billion a year. Four years of that is roughly $600 billion. Then when the date showed up, you blamed Republicans for the cliff you built with your own hands. That's like setting your own kitchen timer and then suing the oven. YOU HELPED DISRUPT BUSINESS AS USUAL. Oh wait, you already did. Last fall your party kept the government shut down for 43 days, the longest shutdown in American history, over those same subsidies. Troops worried about paychecks. Air traffic controllers worked without pay. So when you promise to "disrupt business as usual in Washington"... what's next, a Democrat leader promising to shut the whole government down to get his way... wait. I'm being told that already happened. And the guy who led the House side of it is the one who posted this. YOU HELPED WITH STUDENT LOANS. You tried to hand about $400 billion of other people's debt to the plumber who never went to college, the soldier who enlisted to pay for school, and the kid who worked nights to stay out of debt. The Supreme Court had to stop you. If that's how debt works now, I have a mortgage the people in apartments can pay off for me. YOU HELPED WITH THE DEBT. Roughly $8 trillion added in four years. Interest on the national debt is now over $1 trillion a year. We spend more paying interest than on the entire military. My students' grandkids already owe on a credit card you maxed out before they were born. Now "hold the crooks accountable beginning on Day One." I love that one. Let's start at home. Bob Menendez, Democrat, chairman of Senate Foreign Relations, convicted of bribery with gold bars in his closet. Rep. LaMonica McIver, Democrat, indicted for assaulting federal officers at an ICE facility. The CEO of ActBlue, the donation pipe for your entire party, took the Fifth twenty-two times in front of Congress, including when they asked her name. And when DOGE went after improper payments, a problem GAO puts at about $2.8 trillion since 2003, your caucus fought it like somebody was stealing your lunch money. Why would anybody fight to KEEP fraud, waste, and abuse? What are you trying to hide? You want crooks held accountable on Day One? Put down the megaphone and pick up a mirror. Quinn's Law #1: Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent. You promised to help the working man and handed him 9.1 percent inflation. You promised a secure border and delivered a hotel concierge desk. You promised "affordable" care and built a cliff. Quinn's Law #2: If you want to know what the left is doing, listen to what they accuse everybody else of doing. You accuse Republicans of "more of the same." Your "same" is the reason my grocery bill looks like a car payment. Hakeem, I say this with all the patience of a teacher on the Friday before spring break. You're not the brightest bulb in the Capitol chandelier. The wheel is spinning, but the hamster left the building sometime around 2021. You're a few bricks shy of a load, one taco short of a combo plate, and you couldn't find your way out of a paper bag with a flashlight and a staffer holding the map. You once spent years calling a sitting president "illegitimate," and now you want to lecture America about accountability. That takes a special kind of dull, like a butter knife that got a law degree. So here's the question I ask every Democrat leader in my feed. What have you actually DONE for the people? Not a press conference. Not a poster. Not a shutdown. Done. Because everything on this list is either a handout paid for with somebody else's money or a mess somebody else has to clean up. A party that needs people dependent on government checks to stay in power is not helping the working man. It's building an underclass that can never leave. We've seen that model before. It had cotton fields. NOW LET'S ADD UP THE HELP. $1.9 trillion. The American Rescue Plan. About $600 billion. Four years of net illegal-immigration costs, using FAIR's estimate. About $7 billion. Equipment left in Afghanistan. About $400 billion. The student loan transfer you TRIED to pull off before the Supreme Court stepped in. That's roughly $2.9 trillion in "help" you already delivered or tried to. Now the projected cost, because you're not done helping. Medicare for All: $32 to $38 trillion over ten years, depending on who's scoring it. Making those COVID ACA subsidies permanent: roughly $350 billion more over ten years. Grand total: somewhere between $35 and $41 TRILLION. And for that price you'd get a government that uses your health care as an enforcement tool. Get the shot, file the form, say the right thing, or your "coverage review" gets delayed. You'd lose the medical innovation that happens because somebody can profit from curing something. You'd lose choice. And the quality? We already know what quality a government-run health program brings. Ask the veterans who died waiting for appointments at the Phoenix VA while administrators cooked the wait lists. I'm a veteran. Those were my brothers and sisters on those fake lists.
