🚨Al Nassr head coach Ange Postecoglou on Why Cristiano Ronaldo Was Left Out of Al Nassr's Starting XI Today: 🗣️“Cristiano Ronaldo is an important player, but you cannot expect an experienced player like him to start every single match. “He is a player we brought in to make a difference, not someone we need to exhaust in every game. “We have to be smart with how we manage him. “Everyone knows Ronaldo is no longer in his prime, and we have to accept that reality. “He is getting older, and his body needs more recovery time than it used to. “We are protecting him because we still need him for the bigger games. “Leaving him out today doesn't mean he has lost his importance to this team. “We want him fresh, fit and ready whenever we need him. “There is no point risking unnecessary fatigue when we have other players capable of doing the job. “Ronaldo understands the decision, and this is purely about managing his fitness. “He remains an important part of our plans, but he cannot play every match.”
