Just seems a bit out of line that at the cash close the values are not frozen for that.
And if we're going to go forward with this experiment then we should then be able to do market orders in the after hours vs these limit orders which are more difficult to execute. Make everybody sign something that acknowledges the risk of market orders in thin markets, etc. And for those of us that check depth of market before firing off market orders it won't be an issue.
So if we're going this casino route at least give us the tools to operate in the best way with market orders during all times. I'm sure the Citadel and other market maker algos will step up to fill the liquidity gaps.
I would suggest emailed updates and posts on your X feed today to outline where things stand right now and what the roadmap is. It will just get everybody on the same page sooner and keep you guys from having to field the same questions over and over.

There's always a lot of hype about share unlocks no matter the stock but to understand what will happen you need to understand the supply and the demand of the stock. With respect to $SPCX , if history is a guide there is net buying pressure versus the share unlocks. Some research I had my agents do. I personally would not short especially second half of September onward.

Had the pleasure of lunching w/ legendary commodity trader Richard Dennis today in Chicago. A Leopold Aschenbrenner of his day, Dennis was nicknamed "the Prince of the Pit." Dennis chased trends, making $50m three times in his career (in the '70s that could buy u something). At 26, he purchased 3% of the White Sox for $300k, selling the stake over the years for $20m.
Was leverage where Aschenbrenner went wrong? No, says, Dennis--he didn't focus on liquidity and avoiding becoming a target of shorts. By more actively trading his positions, he could have avoided the front runners.
"He needed to be more Livermore and less Einstein," Dennis says. "He was a whale who stopped swimming."
What does the 77-old Dennis do all day today? Trade--what did you think? His average holding period? Five days, like most of his career.
"I'm a degenerate trader," he told me, "I'll be out of my positions by the time" you read this.

Was just commenting on that again.
Had the MG prior to the earnings. The ERx was okay then had an OEH ATR dip then an OEL ATR back up. Then did that 3 bar break up that shaped up that little shelf. Friday's little break of that shelf DTL on top of all those details made it look viable.
Sometimes it takes up to 50 days post gap for the full potential of that gap to come alive.
This was a case of the MidJourney gap catalyst coming before the eps. Tends to drift. $BFLY
