Perspective: You can coach HS sports for 40 years, but only can play for 4. The time on a player's clock ticks a lot faster. Never forget.

We’ve started a “save-a-celebrity fund” to pay their $8. We take this matter very seriously.

Brandon Bielak, who was recalled as the 27th man for this doubleheader, doing exactly what the Astros need him to do and eating innings. He's retired six of eight batters faced through two scoreless innings with strikeouts of Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge.

Looks sharp to me.

Give me Garcia with 91 pitches coming off two excellent innings over Bielak. Astros leading 5-2 in the sixth.

In consensus cultures, arguments are attacks on sacred beliefs. People take offense at dissent and dismiss those who dare to disagree. In learning cultures, arguments are tools to sharpen ideas. People invite dissent to enrich their thinking and agree to keep disagreeing.

As an NCAA senior, today showed me some things are bigger than baseball. If we get the chance to play, we will be ready. If not, I can assure you most of us will do exactly what sports has trained us to do when we are punched in the mouth, and that’s get back up and keep moving.

Pretty wild to see Nick Dini start at catcher for the Royals today. I played in the same club organization as him during HS and we did catcher drills at the workouts together. Awesome to seem him make it up but hope he doesn’t play too well today 😂 #LFGM
