This is frankly unbelievable. If this is correct, Yorkshire CCC's only punishments are: 1) A 48 points deduction in a season where they were in 6th place and not in contention of promotion. 2) A 4 point deduction *after the competition had already finished*. 3) A £100,000 fine.

Yorkshire have been deducted 48 points from the 2023 County Championship and fined £400,000 - of which £300,000 is suspended for two years - for their handling of the Azeem Rafiq racism scandal. They have also been deducted four points for the 2023 T20 Blast. #BBCCricket
