negative thinking destroys your brain
being a silly goose and delusionally optimistic is the ultimate longevity hack

Guys, I beg you to start being the person you wish to be. This study found that just 5 minutes a day of imagining your best possible self, for two weeks, made people noticeably more optimistic about their future. Picture who you want to be, then go act like them today.

It processed trauma 6x faster than talk therapy.

Nick Saban's Five Enemies of Greatness is always worth a read. He didn't write these, but they're a solid short list of his coaching philosophy throughout the years...
Ingest them for your team, and ingest them for yourself.
The 5 Enemies..keep them away from you.

ADHD is not a disorder. it's a phenotype. it means you have og genetics.
people with adhd were the elite hunters and gatherers.
adhd is only seen as a "disorder" when you're born in modern times and forced to live an unnatural lifestyle in an unnatural environment.
of course, it's going to be seen as a disorder when you put a kid in a chair for 8 hours a day and force them to study useless shit.

ADHD is closely linked to a delayed body clock.
Early evidence suggests correcting this delay can also improve ADHD symptoms.
Up to 78 percent of people with ADHD have a body clock that runs late, and moving that clock earlier has been linked to fewer ADHD symptoms. A 2025 paper by two Canadian doctors pulled the evidence together and laid out a treatment plan.
Melatonin, the hormone that tells your body it's time to sleep, starts rising about 45 minutes later at night in children with ADHD and about 90 minutes later in adults. Brandon Luu of Queen's University and Nicholas Fabiano of the University of Ottawa gathered this research in Frontiers in Psychiatry. Sleep problems affect up to 80 percent of adults with ADHD and up to 82 percent of children.
People with ADHD also tend to have a flatter, later daily cortisol rhythm, and some studies have found a smaller pineal gland, the tiny gland deep in the brain that makes melatonin. Their body clock genes show weaker daily swings too.
Melatonin and bright light therapy have both moved the body clock earlier in children and adults with ADHD. Early studies link that shift to fewer ADHD symptoms, and sleep programs for children have improved symptoms, sleep, and daily functioning.
Screening every ADHD patient for sleep and body clock problems is the first step in the plan the authors propose. After that come a fixed wake-up time, bright light in the morning, less light and screen time at night, regular daily routines, and low-dose melatonin for people whose clock is clearly running late.
The paper is a perspective piece that summarizes earlier research, and much of the treatment evidence is still early. For the large group of people with ADHD whose clocks run late, the first steps it recommends are about light, timing, and routine. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4145…

When you go into the woods and look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree, and you allow it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn't get enough light, and so it turned that way, and you don't get all emotional about it.
You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.
The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you're constantly saying: You are too this, or I'm too that. That judging mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.

I LOVE neuroplasticity. It gives me so much strength to keep bringing a positive change in my life, to think that YES my mind is with me. My mind is not working against me, but with me. Slowly & surely, we'll overcome our challenges.
next time you think change isn't possible, this is an actual footage of the brain rewiring itself:

This footage shows neurons connecting in a petri dish culture, illustrating developmental wiring—not synaptic rewiring for learning or personal change. Filming neuroscientist Dr. Lila Landowski has clarified it does not depict healing from trauma or mindset shifts.

Our expectations tend to shape our reality. Setting intentions takes advantage of the natural power of positive expectations. Aligning our intentions with our values keeps us focused on our highest selves and living our best life.

This is going to sound crazy.
But, one of the skills you must learn in the near future is how to cope with an increasingly illiterate society of emotionally dysregulated people.
If you continue to get frustrated on a daily basis over how everything seems dumb, stress is going to silently jeopardize your health.
