Weโve known for weeks that Hall is categorically not for sale โ
So why are we still talking about it?
If nothing has changed, this isnโt news. Itโs just Newcastle transfer content because #NUFC guarantees clicks.
๐จ Newcastle made clear to Lewis Hall and his camp the intention not to sell him this summer.
Manchester United have been interested for weeks but #NUFC see Hall as key player; Jaissle as well.

BDB looks a shoo-in for club captain, but I canโt see him starting every game next season.
That makes the vice-captain role even more important. Who gets your vote? #NUFC

โฆand who are we playing on Saturday? ๐ #NUFC
If Bruno leaves, we need to be all in for Javi Guerra of Valencia.
You donโt replace Bruno Guimarรฃes with one player. You replace his attributes.
With Miley, Ramsey and Bamba already in the squad, Newcastle already have energy, athleticism and ball-winning. #NUFC (1/2)
With Hornรญฤekโs signing seemingly imminent, hereโs where we think Newcastle are expecting to improve.
Last season we struggled to build from the back, invited pressure too easily and found it difficult to regain control once momentum shifted. #NUFC (1/3)
Hornรญฤekโs biggest strengths are his distribution, composure in possession and sweeping behind the defence.
Those are exactly the areas we have lacked, and theyโre increasingly essential for teams wanting to build through the thirds rather than bypass midfield. #NUFC (2/3)
If Jaissle wants Newcastle to dominate games with the ball as well as without it, the goalkeeper becomes part of that equation.
Hornรญฤek wonโt solve every issue on his own, but his profile looks far better suited to that style than Popeโs. #NUFC (3/3)

The hardest thing to replace is Brunoโs ability to receive under pressure, break lines and control games in possession.
Thatโs exactly what Jaissleโs system demands from its midfield, and why Guerra makes so much sense.
Rumoured to have a โฌ60m release clause. #NUFC (2/2)
Only we could drag out the activation of a release clauseโฆ
#NUFC
๐จ Newcastle United have an agreement in principle with Braga for goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek.ย
๐ฐ Newcastle have agreed to activate his ยฃ25.7m (โฌ30m) release clause, and are now discussing payment terms with the Portuguese club.ย
๐จ๐ฟ The 24-year-old Czech has been given permission to travel for a medical, once the two clubs tie up the loose ends of a deal.ย
โ๐ผ He will become their fifth signing of the summer, taking the spending to around ยฃ140m
๐ #NUFC understandably cautious until they can get the deal over the line.
Elliot Anderson cost nearly as much as Argos. The game has gone. #NUFC

It still feels strange today, but the more I think about it, the more I believe this could be an important moment for #NUFC.
With Howe choosing to move on, the club can fully embrace a modern sporting structure, where the clubโs identity is bigger than any one individual. (1/3)
The strongest clubs separate recruitment from coaching.
Ross Wilson builds the squad. The head coach coaches it.
That allows the club to build a consistent football strategy, with coaches appointed to fit it.
Itโs a structure designed to outlast any one individual. #NUFC (2/3)
The Jaissle appointment makes sense.
Aggressive pressing, structured attacking football and a reputation for developing young players all seem to fit the direction #NUFC have taken this summer.
After a season where we often looked short of ideas, a reset is needed. (3/3)
Five years ago Iโd fallen out of love with #NUFC.
After the conveyor belt of Carver, McClaren, Bruce and years of flirting with relegation, supporting the toon had become more draining than enjoyable.
Then came Eddie Howe. (1/3)
He saved us from the brink of relegation, restored belief, took us back into the Champions League and gave me the best day of my life as an #NUFC fan by lifting the Carabao Cup. (2/3)
Eddie Howe leaves Newcastle United a far better club than the one he inherited.
Thatโs a legacy few managers could match and one that earns him a place on the Mount Rushmore of #NUFC managers.
Thank you, Eddie. (3/3)

Surprised by the reaction to Bergvall. We were happy for #NUFC to spend big on Manzambi, yet many now question Bergvallโs quality & fee.
At 20, heโs already elite under pressure and one of Europeโs best young ball progressors. Thatโs exactly the profile we should be targeting.
Donโt worry lads, weโll go back in with the exact same bid tomorrow - theyโre bound to accept. #NUFC
๐จ EXCL: Newcastle United make offer to sign Lucas Bergvall from Tottenham Hotspur. Proposal for 20yo midfielder ยฃ46m; turned down. #THFC rejected all bids so far (#NFFC lower + others higher than #NUFC) but will consider sale at right price @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7449557โฆ
Missing out on Manzambi hurts, but the best response from #NUFC is to act quickly and decisively on an exciting alternative.
He offered a rare mix of elite carrying, physicality, creativity and huge upside. So who else could bring something similar? ๐งต
๐ธ๐ช Hugo Larsson
A different profile, but an intriguing one. Tall, press-resistant and composed, with strong progression and Bundesliga experience.
Less of an explosive line-breaking carrier than Manzambi, but potentially offers greater control. #NUFC
Manzambi would have been an outstanding signing. Thereโs no point pretending otherwise.
But all will be forgotten if #NUFC respond quickly and decisively with an exciting alternative.
The next move matters.
