The God we serve commands parents to

Yet, this God given right that these parents have is being stripped away from them by the state. These parents who want to honor our Lord and lead their daughter into the truth, and away from what she can’t see what will destroy her just as God has entrusted the parents to do. May justice be served.
A Massachusetts family says the state took custody of their teenage daughter after they refused to affirm her as a boy, citing their Catholic faith.
The parents allege a school counselor socially transitioned their daughter without their knowledge, then reported them to the Department of Children and Families.
Now the state has guardianship, and a restraining order prevents the teen's parents and older brother from contacting her.
A judge has temporarily blocked the state from administering high-dose testosterone as the family fights the case. The next court hearing is set for Oct. 29. | @LaurenGreenFox @AmericaNewsroom

Clancy’s entire “insanity” defense rests completely on the claim that she “heard a voice” telling her to kill her kids. The problem is: 1) There’s no way to prove or disprove an imaginary voice. Any murderer can make this claim and if it counts as “reasonable doubt” then we can never convict anyone of anything ever again. 2) She never reported this voice before or since the crime, strongly indicating that she made it up. 3) Most importantly, even if she DID hear a voice, why didn’t she refuse to follow the command? If a voice told me to murder my children, I would refuse. If the voice threatened and harassed me, I’d still refuse. If an actual real human told me to kill my kids and put a gun to my head, I would still refuse. If this imaginary voice did appear, Clancy could have chosen not to obey it. Instead, by her telling, the voice spoke exactly one time and she just immediately complied with what it told her to do. Not even a moment of pushback. Even if I bought that bullshit, which I don’t, she would still be guilty as hell.

The Lindsay Clancy trial is a lose-lose for women. Either:
1. Women’s hormones & feelings are so strong that women cannot be trusted with authority over anything important (and we go back to a pre-1960’s view of women)
OR
2. Women will finally be held responsible for their actions, regardless of their feelings and hormones.
Women can no longer have it both ways, and the Jury decides which way forward.
