A few things I think of when reading this post: 1. What’s the cost of the advice relative to unit size? (must be considered) 2. Is their community involved? A solid community brings more value. 3. Is there something tangible offered by the service? Consolidated/concise or unique information, a model, or quantifiable edge. The spectrum of “pay for pick” handicappers is broad. Leaving us with 2 things that are true at the same time. The industry is both a scam, but it could also be a value adding proposition. The hardest part is you’ll never know unless you follow the same person or group for 10,000+ bets.

Klay's one of my favorite guys in the league, so hear me with love here. Saw him pop up on one of these big streams. It just left me uneasy. Klay didn't do a thing wrong on there. It's more that watching NBA guys hand their name over to these dudes chasing a viral moment any way they can get it, it's unnecessary. You're an NBA player. You already got the platform. What are you going over there for? And some of these streamers especially have been mixed up in weird stuff lately. That's not an association an NBA guys needs. Your name means something.
