I'm not sure midterm elections benefit the country. Everyone essentially runs a two-year campaign rather than addressing long-term issues and challenges.

It’s what always happens. Democrats over play their hand, then republicans get elected, act like dead fish and don’t do anything they promised, so democrats get elected again and the cycle repeats.

Fun fact, George Lucas stated that the jedi are free to have sexual relations but are strictly forbidden from forming attachments. Yes, it's as retarded as it sounds.

Even if this were true, what about all of the promiscuous, selfish, TikTok addicted women who contribute absolutely nothing to society? Do these people realize how many women sit in bed scrolling all day long?
What happens when these single women, who refuse to have kids, need government assistance because they can’t take care of themselves in old age? If anything, they’ll be the main ones “mooching off the federal government.”
These politicians keep scapegoating young men while completely disregarding the fact that the people they shame the most are the ones contributing the most to society.
We’ve built an entire welfare state for boomers, women, and foreigners, yet somehow young men are the “moochers.”

I can't stop replying to this. I watched my son struggle to pay bills after losing his job to an H1B. He got another job eventually but damage was done. His playing video games is what kept him connected to friends during dire times. I hate everything this.

They are literally telling us that if Democrats are winning they will call the races early, but if Republicans are winning they won't call the races until tomorrow or later.
That is literally what they are saying, without any exaggeration.
They are telling this to us straight up, to our faces.
Democrats are heavily favored in public polling in the House and in several key Senate races. If those numbers prove accurate, it’s possible that NBC News could project control of both chambers on election night. But it’s more likely that determining the winners will take time. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

Star Wars is meant for kids and young adults, but if there is a lesson in it for the "grown-ups" and the moral powers-that-be it is this:
Anakin's grievances are real and his mistreatment by the Council is very real. Many times he and those who care about him attempt to address these grievances through the proper channels, but Qui-Gon is killed, Anakin is rebuffed, and Obi-Wan always has something a bit more important to do that takes him far away.
Only one authority figure ever listens to Anakin, tells Anakin constantly how much he admires and respects him, and promises to give Anakin everything he wants. Even still Anakin does not fall for his tricks right away. Palpatine has some twenty years to groom Anakin and yet his reaction upon learning his true identity is to immediately turn him over.
But Sidious knows that once again Anakin will get no respect or consideration for this. In the end, for the thousandth time, the Jedi refuse to listen to him, and he finally declares for the Dark Side.
No doubt all our Very Respectable Conservatives are fully aware of the existence of our own Palpatines out there in the politics of the West. In fact, fortunately, our enemies - both the Left-Liberals of the decaying Republic, and the power-hungry amoral radicals - are far less intelligent and charismatic.
And yet our Jedi are even more scornful and dismissive of their Anakins.
If you continue to insist on being Yoda, Windu, and the rest of the big-headed old men, you WILL lose. And you will have nobody to blame but yourselves. To carry on the childish conceit, we need Qui-Gon Jinn. We need someone to buy demoralized, angry boys out of slavery, not to berate them and tell them they serve the Dark Side. Tell them that enough, and they will.
He WAS the good guy. He WAS the hero.
Until he wasn’t. Until he went full dark side and joined the Sith.
That’s the story. That’s the Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker. He was the good guy. He had potential and then lost it all.
It’s a cautionary tale by George Lucas, and apparently Gen Z isn’t getting the message.
Gen Z gets Anakin. Boomers still don’t.
He wants power, love, freedom, and a life that matters.
His elders would like him to be patient.
Anakin Skywalker has rescued the Chancellor, fought a galactic war, and lost a hand on the job. Unfortunately, management has concerns about his attitude.
The Jedi Council acknowledges his extraordinary potential.
Whether he should be allowed to do anything with it without supervision remains under review.
You can see why the Anakin memes have found an audience.
The third installment of the prequels has been going viral on X with Gen Z asking, “Wasn’t Anakin… the good guy?”
But his appeal goes deeper than handsome-man-with-a-lightsaber edits.
Anakin wants a consequential life.
He wants mastery, adventure, recognition, and love.
He wants independence and his mentors’ approval.
He wants to protect Padmé and remain a Jedi.
He wants responsibility before he fully understands what it costs.
That conflict gives him an emotional life richer than the standard diagnosis of an entitled young man who needs to calm down.

If you're a disaffected young man who identifies with Anakin, then learn the lesson he didn't:
Palpatine hates you.
He's only fueling your anger and resentment for his own dark purposes. He will cause you as much pain as he needs. And in the end, he will discard you.

This girl is exactly right when she says that a double-digit sexual partner count "should be expected" for women in their mid-twenties.
Which is precisely why all of the smartest, highest-tier single men are moving their dating age-range younger and younger, throwing the taboos around large age-gaps out the window.
It's just being logical, and making the best forward-thinking choice in order to find the highest-quality wife possible, with the strongest pair-bonding ability, who will be worth investing his time and money into as he pursues his mission of finding the optimal future mother of his kids.
Oh and by the way, once women have experienced a single "shocked" reaction from a guy, just like this girl did below, she will never be honest again, and simply LIE about her body count to avoid getting insta-dumped by future boyfriends. This shameless lying is happening now more than ever, as the entire feminism-sphere has been blasting the message to young women constantly that "It doesn't even matter! You go girl, men are just insecure if they have a problem with it!", which is subconsciously removing all guilt around lying about their history. So, the literal ONLY way men can confidently filter out ran-through women, is to simply date younger.

The entire point of Star Wars was that Anakin got manipulated into serving an authoritarian. You really thought this was a flex? The irony of identifying with a character who fell for every lie a powerful politician told him is absolutely incredible.
Let me get this straight…
Sam Altman founded OpenAI as a nonprofit. Open source. For everyone. “To benefit humanity.”
Then he raised billions of dollars.
Then he closed the source code.
Then he converted to for-profit.
Then he scraped the entire internet without asking anyone.
Then he used YOUR writing YOUR art YOUR code to train his models.
Now he’s saying “bad things need to happen for AI to move forward.”
He stole all of your data. He built the product with your work. And now he’s unleashing consequences from the technology that NO ONE asked for.
Corporate greed has reached an all time high, and they’re not even hiding it anymore…

Unpopular opinion:
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being pro-AI.
Some people make it sound like supporting AI is something to be ashamed of.
I’ve seen people afraid to admit they use AI, share their creations, or even express excitement about new AI tools because of the growing anti-AI sentiment.
Don’t let that silence you.
Being pro-AI doesn’t mean you’re against artists, creativity, or human talent.
It simply means you see possibilities in a technology that others may not understand or agree with.
You can respect traditional art and embrace AI. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.
You don’t need anyone’s permission to be excited about the future.
