I have a feeling reading the New Testament that Jesus and the apostles probably wouldn't have voted. And the apostle Paul would probably have considered it an issue of "Christian liberty" to vote. And whoever you voted for wouldn't have been considered an ethical dilemma.

I feel the same about Blue Grass competitions. Is there any difference between the North Carolina blue grass music champion and the world champion? Like, are the Japanese out there killing it at the world championship for Blue Grass?
Congrats to the US on another World Series win.

Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

If this is true it's sad that Samuel Say appears to have illegally migrated to the United States. But it's also just as equally sad that our immigration policies are so complicated. We should make legal immigration far easier, and with a lot lessvred tape.
Here is the smoking gun video clip of Samuel Sey committing willful misrepresentation to enter the United States on a B-2 visa. On Allie Stuckey's 2022 Valentine's Day podcast, Sey and now wife, explain the hurdles that he jumped through to get a visa to enter the US. “Yeah the plan is that I’ll be staying in Ohio for good… when we get married we’ll be finally being able to stay together, live together after all this time.” Consular officers assessing B visas are required to presume immigrant intent under INA § 214(b) and to probe ties abroad. Declaring an intent to marry and remain would normally have led an officer to refuse the B visa and direct the applicant to the K-1 process. Sey lied to get into the United States, and now his allies claim this was a clerical error.

A tariff is a tax. China or Canada doesn’t pay it. Farmers, American manufacturers, and families at the checkout counter pay it. I oppose blanket tariffs and support free, fair trade that benefits every American.

One thing great about the election next week! All those daily political spam text messages will be going away...

This is like watching snakes eat their own tails
Replying to @JoelWBerry
This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joel Berry has promoted deportation of illegal immigrants that he doesn’t know. Suddenly he opposes it in this case since he’s sympathetic to the person who’s being deported. This is inconsistent. x.com/joelwberry/sta…

Maybe the Samuel Sey deportation will awaken many proponents of mass deportation to how incredibly stupid most of our countries immigration policies are. So much of what people get all passionate about regarding immigration amounts to a system of silly red tape.

Apparently we moved to an area in South Carolina that really, really, really likes college football! I was walking my dog, and suddenly I heard a massive wave of screaming coming out of folks homes and backyards. I guess the Gamecocks won? 😂

Good eats. Smoked a pulled pork for dinner tonight! Sadly, none of the grocery stores here in South Carolina have "Eastern Carolina" vinegar sauce! Next time I'll just have to make some. But I'm excited to try some SC "mustard sauce" that I picked up instead.

Warren is so out of touch with reality. Online shopping and discount retailers killed the shopping mall, not private equity. Consumers simply found a cheaper and more convenient places to shop. Shopping at a mall sucks.
Here's how private equity killed your local mall.

At some point someone is gonna ask Trump to write out the pardons before his last day in office for fear he won’t be able to at the end. That’s gonna be fun to watch.

My wife and I are rewatching Rings of Power before next season comes out. And even though I’ve already seen it, half the time I can’t figure out what the dialogue is actually about. Some things make more sense the second time around. But it’s still tough to understand.

Our love for God is shown, not in the intensity of our private devotional lives, but in how well we love on others.
