How hath the mighty fallen!
Election no be war.
Put in the work and stop whining.
I am in the middle of an accidental town hall meeting in Manchester in the UK. I came to a Lunch to which Peter Obi was invited. I found food I looked forward to deferred for questions on the trouble with Nigeria. Many of the questions suggest worry about the boldness of public officials in projecting rigging with results of elections of 2027 considered in the pocket. They were energized to ask for how they could own fighting rigging. The determination to do whatever will prevent election malpractice suggest we may see a civil war if power tries to muscle the will of the people this time.
This is very interesting to watch. I believe his audience understand English Language. However, to drive home his points he resorted to the local language.
Politics is indeed local.
After many people have mentioned how much they bought petrol today from PH to Uyo, to Abuja to Ilorin and it's not up to #1500/Litre, this falsehood is still up here.
This means only one thing, this newspaper is not concerned about disseminating the truth but have a very evil agenda to destabilize Nigeria. God will shame you all and your sponsors. Nigeria will get better notwithstanding your bitterness.

Awwww...
They so much love the masses 😂
So Amaechi dressed up, carry an old car in his fleet, drove Atiku in the front seat, wore a mic, arranged a man to ask him question, arranged some people from a section of the country, in company of their full security details to just go and buy fuel of N10,000.
I mean they didn’t even fill their tank, he even paid with cash
All these just to score a political point
Who else noticed that the two men looked as if they forced them to act the script?
It's a pity none of them has been given the opportunity to govern any of their states. The Nigerian nation is so biased against them that their governors are appointed from Oyo, Zamfara and Kaduna. If they had been given the opportunity to govern their states, every Nigerian would have been eager to relocate there.
A bit of education. Kindly google Lagos colony(Lagos Island and its surrounding coastal area) and Western Region.
The City of Lagos(Lagos Island and its surrounding coastal area) was the federal capital while the rest of the modern day Lagos State was part of the Western Region until 27th of May, 1967 when States were created from the Region.
Therefore, the claim that the whole Lagos State was built with Nigeria's wealth is fallacious. The Western Region had established industrial estates like (Ikeja and Ilupeju) before Independence and before the discovery of oil.
Housing Estates such as Bodija Estate and Ikeja GRA were also conceived and developed by the Western Region before the Independence.
Instead of you to hold your different state Governors accountable to fix your states, you keep crying about Lagos yet you lots denigrate it at every given opportunity.
Ogun ìdílé ló ńbá gbogbo yín jà.
The audacity of cretins like this one from the backwaters of Benue State to talk down on a whole tribe is mind boggling.
And when you ask them what makes their candidate the best you'd realize it's about perception not any verifiable record.
Advocate of good governance and your state is still stuck in the 19th century. Tueh
Let's even leave language for a second, in what universe is a GRV more competent than a Funsho Doherty or Obafemi Hamzat?
What has he done in his community to show capacity?
Even in his chosen career and businesses, how has he shown his leadership acumen?
Or it's only by MIT?
I'm tired of this madness. If fluency in Yoruba language is he only thing you have against GRV, that means he is overqualified for the position. Governance is not done in Yoruba language. Do you want good governance or you just want a Governor that speaks Yoruba and doesn't know what he is doing in office? How many times have Sanwo-Olu spoken to you, before we even address the matter of him speaking to you in Yoruba. He probably doesn't even consider you relevant to address.
When I was in Kebbi state offering legal aids to keep people out of prison, I couldn't speak Hausa. I used an interpreter. That is how the world works in 2026. Nobody cares what language you speak if you can get the job done. If you're doing international business, you'll use an interpreter. If you're in a forum with multinationals, you'll use interpreter.
If yoruba language fluency is your problem. He will use an interpreter to address you. You are too educated to be this foolish in 2026.
